It might happen again after posting this, but I posted on a thread last night, and it did so. So I'm on mobile and it is doing it as well. Can someone help to where it wont happen again please because it makes me feel stupid when it happens.

Has it happened more than those two times? (today and yesterday) Were all instances of accidental double posting on a phone? Was the connection good when it happened, or was it a bit unstable? What browser did you use? If nothing else, perhaps you could ask a moderator to hide the extra posts.

Its happened before as well. Earlier and last night, I noticed that when my posts were sending, it took awhile to send through, then when they finally showed up they were more than one. I am starting to think its a bad connection. And I do know I could link them to the mods on here, but if it keeps happening and I keep sending them, it will probably become nerve wrecking for them and I don't want to be of any trouble.

yes, that might be a bad connection... still, it doesn't hurt to be sure. could you give some specs like what browser you use and such so that Mahz can compare it to other cases? (past, present or future) The mods generally don't mind hiding a post now and then. if you come with 50+ posts a day it could be nerve-wracking. one or two now and then isn't a problem.

I'm certain its Chrome. I'll also add that my internet is from satellite via Hughes due to how far I live from getting any other decent type of internet stability.

It should be impossible to double-post, so I'm working on that. I'm actually surprised that you're able to double-post, so this is good information. Do you have javascript enabled or disabled? Finally, are you double-clicking or double-tapping the "Post Reply" button? Or are you just clicking it once? You should only click the submit button one time. Thanks for any help you can provide. Version 35.0.1916.114 of Chrome if correct I hope. And hats off to you for your help I'm glad to hear that you'll help me on the situation if it happens again, and that you are working on stopping it for good. And JavaScript is enabled. One more thing.......my mouse is having problems as well with a double clicking situation, so it could be that. Either way, thank you for the update and for your help. One more thing. I just created a simple test that might help me debug this issue. The test: - Go here: <http://jsfiddle.net/danneu/6tjdzjvy/embedded/result/> - Click the "Click Me" button 10 times - The result should look like this:  Can you let me know if you get a different result?

Tested it and got the same results.
