Nodding, Ele leaned against the side of the Miata and tried to catch her breath,

"I can kind of see how you like doing this. It's rewarding, isn't it? All this hard work and then getting a really nice car out of it."

[Tyler Night]

"Yes it is rewarding. By tomorrow we should have a running car."

He smiled at her.

"Lets run up town, see about picking up a turbo kit."

"Can we get food too?"

Ele asked, they had been working for a while and hadn't eaten since before leaving. It was close to dinner time and Ele's stomach was grumbling.

[Tyler Night]

"Of course."

He says as he walks out of the garage.

"I am thinking Vale's restaurant in town. They have awesome pizza's and hot wings there."

"Pizza sounds amazing! And anything with caffeine, I need that too."

Ele said, then looked at her hands. They were covered in black from the battery and she held them up for Tyler to see,

"A couple of these marks planted right on your back pockets would be the funniest!"

She teased, stepping towards Tyler threateningly.

"So, you wanna grab my butt huh?"

He asks with a smirk.

Smirking, Ele made grabbing motions with her hands,

"Or at least touch it."

Sticking her tongue out at Tyler, Ele skipped past him to go into the house, her red ponytail swinging behind her.

"I bet you would just love that."

He walks in to get cleaned up. He grabs the keys to his van and heads out to soon after to wait. He turns the radio on and buckles up after starting it up.

"And you wanna touch mine!"

Ele called from the bathroom where she was washing her hands. Once cleaned up she,jogged out to the van and got in next to Tyler.

He smiles at her and takes off, heading to town.

"I am thinking of getting a decent sized turbo. Should be fun or I might see about a supercharger for it."

He drives the few miles to the auto parts store and parks right by the door.

"You gotta come in and see some of the wheels they have."

Nodding, Ele got out of the van and they went inside the auto parts store. At some point, while Tyler was looking at car parts, Ele wandered off and some how ended up in the tire section. Indeed some of them were massive and Ele managed to climb into one of the largest, lounging comfortably in the hollowed curve just scrolling through her social media.

He walks over to the wheels area looking at the rims. He looks at his second favorite wheels. Noticing red hair within the tire near the wall he says.

"Hey babe look at this wheel."

He points out the Panther Juice wheels.

"$175 a piece for these, 18 inch."

"Hmm?"

Ele sat up and poked her head out of the tire. Struggling out of her little hidey hole, Ele brushed brushed herself off and joined Tyler,

"Yeah babe?"

She asked, looking at the time,

"Its very shiny."

[Tyler Night]

"Yeah. it is not chrome, just powder coated. Can strip the powder coating off and respray it with the chameleon. You like the looks of those?"

He asks looking up at them then back at her.

Nodding enthusiastically Ele smiled, imagining how they would look in the new paint,

"I like them!"

[Tyler Night]

"Lets get them then. Just 2 for now."

He starts looking at the tires as he begins walking up to the counter. He stops at the counter and begins checking out. He buys, wheels, tires, racing seats, a full turbo kit for a rotary and a new suspension setup. He starts getting rung up and quickly the total climbs over 1,000, then 2,000, finishing up at over $3,600. He puts it on his credit card and looks over at Ele.

"They are gonna marry the wheels and tires for us, that will be a couple hours so we can go eat."

He grabs the turbo kit and one of the racing seats.

"Can you grab the suspension and other racing seat?"

"Roger that!"

Ele said, grabbing the things and following Tyler back out to the van. It was interesting to see the process that went into building a car, particularly a high performance one. It made her appreciate the work Tyler had put into his other cars, and once they had everything loaded Ele touched Tyler's arm to get his attention.

"I just want you to know, all of this hard work that you put in for what you love, I think it's amazing. I think you're amazing."

She said, blushing pink and pressing her hands to her cheeks. The words had come out so easily, but Ele knew that she meant them.

He smiles and hugs her, kissing her forehead.

"You are more amazing than me. You did so much with that railway that you didn't have to."

He pops open the doors and climbs back in. He takes off once she is in and buckled up driving several blocks to the Valley Tavern. He walks in the restaurant side of the place and sits down at a corner booth.

"So what kind of pizza you thinking?"

Tyler's words warmed Ele, and she felt like she was floating the entire ride to the restaurant. Inside, she scooted close to Tyler, glad that he had chosen a corner booth so Ele could cuddle up to him,

"I am a thinking pizza."

She said, looking through the options,

"Fair warning, I may be short, but I can put away a large pizza by myself."

[Tyler Night]

He chuckles.

"I asked what kind of pizza hun."

He rubs her arm.

"You will get full with the large here. Their medium is the size of most places large and their large is 2 inches bigger."
