"I know,"

Ele smirked at Tyler, and tried to hold back a laugh. She enjoyed the fact that he took her teasing well. Turning her attention back to the menu, Ele put her hand on Tyler's thigh as she made her decision,

"In that case, do you want to do half and half? Or do you not share well? Because I totally get it if you don't share well."

She turned her head to see Tyler,

"I try to be good and share, but its hard sometimes. I would share with you though. I like you."

[Tyler Night]

"We can do half and half, I like sharing."

He smiles and keeps holding onto her.

"You pick out your toppings first."

"Hmm... I think I might go for a chicken and sausage one, that sounds really good right now."

She said, laying her head on Tyler's shoulder,

"So, since we're progressing to building a car together and cuddling, and let's not forget the whole sharing a bed thing, we should probably get to know one another a little more."

Ele giggled, playing with a napkin,

"When's your birthday?"

[Tyler Night]

"Buffalo chicken and hot and sweet italian sausage is amazing."

Looking at her after her question is asked.

"January 4th, yours?"

"June 7. But what year too?"

Shrugging, Ele smiled as the waitress came over and gave them waters and took their order. When she left, Ele tried again,

"Basically, how old are you? I'm June 7, 1991."

(I am gonna change my age from my cs since it has been so long since we started.)

"1984, I am 33."

He smiles.

"Have some years behind me but still have a few in front of me."

"8 years difference?"

Ele gasped, looking at Tyler in the face. He certainly didn't look 33, she would have said late 20's.

"Look at you, cradle robber."

Teasingly, Ele went on to the next question,

"Favorite animal?"

"English Mastiff."

He smiles.

"I have pretty much only had english mastiffs in my house since I was 15 years old."

"That is a very large, very specific dog."

Ele said approvingly,

"I like virtually all animals, so its hard to narrow down to one. But if I did pick one, I would say a snowy owl."

As their food arrived, Ele scooted away from Tyler so they had room to eat,

"Okay, you ask me a question."

[Tyler Night]

He smirks.

"Have you ever seen an owl in person?"

He asks as he picks up a piece of his pineapple and ham pizza.

"Once, at the San Francisco Zoo. It was so beautiful! Plus, I'm secretly a Harry Potter nerd, so I fell in love with Hedwig from the start."

She replied, picking up her own piece of pizza. Chewing thoughtfully, Ele asked her next question,

"How come you haven't tried to kiss me yet?"

"Make it special."

He smirks.

"Tonight, I think we will bust out the old boom box and toss in the tape to call in the owls."

"What?"

Ele,looked confused, her brow furrowed,

"1. What do you mean make it special. 2. What tape?"

[Tyler Night]

"I want our first real kiss to be something special."

Chuckling he says.

"I have a cassette tape with owls hooting and hollering. We would play it at night for a minute or two usually and within 15 or 20 minutes the owls would surround the house and for hours on end they would talk to each other."

Ele's eyes went wide at the thought of owls surrounding the house. She also put the idea of their first real kiss in the back of her head, thinking,

What does Tyler constitute as "special"?

"Seriously, I like owls, but if I found myself surrounded and none of them had my long lost letter to Hogwarts in its beak, I would get freaked out."

Shrugging, Ele took a sip of her drink,

"At least for a little while, but I want to try your suggestion. I think that would be really cool!"

[Tyler Night]

"It is really cool, about 10 years ago my mom put out a leftover turkey carcass in our backyard and an owl landed and started picking it clean. Kept coming back and eating the turkey. Only stuck around for a few weeks and never saw it again, but it was a snowy owl."

He smiles picking up a piece of his side of the pizza and takes a bite.

"You will freak out hearing all of these owls just cawing and hooting."

Ele imagined that, seeing all of the birds together and the snowy owl sticking around. She smiled as she swallowed a bite of pizza,

"Maybe it was my spirit animal, coming to give you a hint of what was coming?"

Finishing her pizza slice and feeling full, Ele pushed her plate away and sipped thoughtfully at her drink, a thought forming in her head,

"Owls are birds, and turkeys are birds... Does that mean that the owl was committing cannibalism?"

[Tyler Night]

Chuckling hearing her quest he says.

"Nope, humans are mammals and so are cows and pigs, we aren't called cannibals for eating them so it doesn't become cannibalism until you are eating your own species."

He smiles at her.

"feeling full already huh?"

"But think about this, humans, cows, and birds are in the same biological kingdom, Animalia, but birds are not in the same class of Mammalia. Humans and cows deviate from one another then, splitting into different orders. Birds on the other hand stay in the same classification until you get to Genus..."

Pausing, Ele blushed and looked away from Tyler,

"Sorry... I went full nerd there for a minute. I really like biology so I can talk about it quite a lot."

He laughs.

"Its fine sweetie. We all have our passions."

He finishes his pizza slice and looks at her.

"Wanna get an order of wings and take it home with us?"
