Ele nodded,

"And a box for the rest of this?"

She motioned to the portions of uneaten pizza.

[Tyler Night]

"Of course."

Tyler calls the waitress over.

"We would like to order some wings to go and a box for our pizza."

"I will get those right out for you."

She says, picking up the pizza still on the metal display and carries it to the back. A few minutes pass and she comes back out with the pizza.

"It will be 5 minutes on the wings."

"Alright, thanks."

He grabs out a 20 and when she returns he pays for the meal, leaving 3 dollars as the tip. He grabs the food and moves out to the van, popping the doors open.

"Still have a little bit of time to wait on the wheels and tires but we can hang out in the waiting room."

"That's fine,"

Ele said, getting into her seat. Feeling full and a bit sleepy, she smiled at Tyler as he got in the van as well,

"It just means that I'm going to cuddle you while we wait. I hope you're okay with PDA."

He smirks.

"That is fine babe."

He takes off and drives back to the shop once again, walking into the waiting room which has a tv set to mav tv a vending machine and fresh coffee. He sits down on the couch and leans back.

Happily following Tyler in, Ele sat next to him and snuggled up to his side. Cheekily, she put her legs over Tyler's lap and her head on his shoulder,

"Have you told any of your family about me?

"No I haven't. Haven't even talked to any of them in like 2 weeks."

He grabs her leg and straightens it out. Grabbing her knee cap he moves it side to side freely.

"So you're basically shacking up with a much younger girl you've just met and you haven't even told your mother? You bad boy!"

When Tyler began playing with her knee cap though Ele looked at it move with mild horror and fascination,

"Dear God that feels weird!"

"Knee cap is the only bone in the body not attached to anything so it can be moved side to side."

He keeps moving it around with a smile.

"And you like to play with it, you creeper!"

Ele giggled, putting her hand over her knee,

"It feels weird!"

He laughs.

"Yup."

He grabs the tv remote and turns it up.

"Pro Pulling League, Super Unlimited class meaning they can run up to 5 internal combustion engine or 3 turbine engines."

First tractor that rolls up runs 3 turbine engines. It starts winding up then takes off screaming down the track, the sled stopping it short of a full pull at 295 feet.

"Insane huh?"

Watchdog the TV, Ele was impressed by the machines. They were huge and loud, even on the TV.

"What is the difference? Is one better than the other?"

"Well, turbine engines are more direct and generate more torque but they also get much hotter and wear out quicker. At about 75 grand a piece they are very expensive but make like 7,500 to 10,000hp each. Internal combustion you can get for around 45 or 50 grand each at 5,000 to 6,000hp, they rev up to like 10,000 rpm while the turbine will run upwards of 30,000 rpm at idle."

He looks at the time.

"Probably be ready in 10 or 15 minutes."

They sat in comfortable quiet until the tires were done, and Ele made a little noise of disappointment when she had to get up. She had been comfortable cuddling on the couch,

"I'll roll one out if you need me to."

Ele offered.

"They have them boxed up and we have to drive around back cuz they have them back there. They will load them up for us."

He says, standing up. He walks over to the vending machine, sticking a dollar in. He pushes the button for mountain dew and 2 drop out. He chuckles and picks them up. As he walks to the counter to let them know he notices a sign about the vending machine dispensing 2 cans for a dollar instead of giving change back. He hands Ele a can and walks out to the van. He pops the doors and climbs in waiting for Ele.

"Thanks!"

She said gratefully, accepting the drink and going out. In her pocket, her phone buzzed with a notification, but Ele ignored it for now, climbing into the van.

"You're welcome."

He drives to the back once they are settled in. He stops at the back of the shop and unlocks the doors. The employee opens the gate on the back and places the boxes in the back and looks around seeing the decked out van.

"Man, I knew this van was pimped out but damn. Have a good one though."

"Thanks, see you probably in a month or so."

He takes off once again, heading home. Getting there he pulls up and starts unloading everything next to the miata.

Ele helped him unload, then took the food inside to put in the fridge. She also grabbed two water bottles for them while they worked. Going back out, Ele set the bottles down near Tyler,

"Favorite color?"

She asked, continuing their question game.

"You asked that earlier."

He laughs.

"Overall, green but for cars and trucks blue or cinnamon pearl."

"Oh, right..."

Ele said, thinking of another question as she fiddled with different things,

"Texting or calling?"

"Calling, never really texted all that much."

He pulls the wheels and tires out of the box looking them over. He rolls a jack under the cars rear end and jacks it up a good amount. He puts the new wheel and tire up against the stock wheel and tire, leaving the custom wheel and tire there. He lowers the rear end a couple inches he looks at the stance and smiles.

"This is pretty close to the stance the car will have with the suspension and tire setup."
