A Roman centurion leaves Rome, the Legion calling him. The Empire is under threat again. Telling his son to stay strong, to keep with his practice. To his pregnant wife late with child that he'd return once again to his family, among other things best not said aloud. Sealing his departure with a kiss and a farewell. Doning his armor and shield, leaving at dawn. For blood, glory and honor. Departing into the rising sun with the blessings of the gods and a promise to return home.
Four years passed. The legion has conquered and drove the barbarian filth to ashes, peace is able to flow again as the known world is subjugated under the Eagle. The centurion now promoted to a general, proving both intellect and cunning. Not well known. Not yet, he is afforded down time. Returning home, amazed how much everything has changed. His father now a leading senator, his wife and children (9 boy and 4 girl) await them in a more luxurious part of Rome.
Inheriting her fathers trade empire and vast amounts of wealth, giving them both more out of life. In returning a grand celebration is thrown for a returning conqueror and a hero. Though his immediate family await him at the gates, more desperate to see him. Though upon his return marked a social climb, one that was only to made more insatiable. Craving more they wanted more and so the climb begins.
Side Notes:
-This mature. There will be blood and sex it can't be helped, since the couple are a lustful pairing and well its ancient Rome.
