Her uncle beat her, her aunt, and her cousin until they got a divorce and her aunt took her cousin and her with her. Mason used video games to escape. When her best friend and cousin joined the ranks of SAO she stayed behind until her best friend died in the game. She joined to take revenge. When stuck in the game she was fighting to be the strongest she could be when she met Sebastian and his friends. She joined their guild and fell in love with Sebastian but when her cousin died she lost it and ran off. She created her own guild but left to rejoin The Imortalis. She later left the group out of anger at everyone thinking of her as a child. She did rejoin however after facing a battle against Sebastian and winning. She joins a team of other strong players and helps take down the final boss. Upon awaking in the real world she has no place to go, she did try to go back home to grab her clothes and such but her uncle locked her in the house and beat her until the neighbors heard her screams and called the police. Her aunt and uncle were both arrested. Mason was sent to an orphanage and lived in a orphanage for two weeks until the orphanage sent her to the SAO Survivor School. Personality: Mason in game was a fairly hostile girl with a bad attitude but when around friends very kind and protective of them. A very brave and talkative person. Now back in the real world she is a shy and quiet girl who when around people doesn't talk much. She is terrified of people touching her in anyway due to being beaten when she was little. She isn't very trusting anymore. Alon Tech is the distributor of Nerve Gears, and one of the biggest companies in the world. Tyler willingly got on SAO a week after it was revealed it was a death game, just so he could escape the pressure, solitude, and misery of his life. He was one of the most well known solo players in the game, due to his high profile robberies of rare items. After joining a few other powerful players he took down the final boss and was forced back into his real life. After joining the real world his father became more protective of him and had him join the school for SAO survivors. He hopes he can find some of his old friends and waits for the day that he can. Though he and his step father didn't get along well, it was when Sebastian learned the step father was only acted cruel to motivate sebastian to return to normal strength and that it left the man physically and mentally strained. Now seeing the man was a good one together they worked ten hours a day to regain sebastian's strength. But the loss of his father took it's toll and sebastian grew angry at life. Personality: Very jolly and a hardy young man, never letting a smile go from his face, but also a hotheaded and fist first kind of person. He is somewhat spiritual and family oriented.
