Xavier's School for the gifted? Any interest?

"The first time he had seen her, she had barely been breathing when they brought her into Xavier's School for the gifted. She had seemed so tiny cradled in Professor Logan's arms barely breathing. Blond curls matted, blue eyes glassy, and her body burning with fever. “Jean she's barely breathing! Come on kid you have to stay awake.” That was forever engraved in Damien's memory. He could never forget. Not even now as he lay next to his beautiful wife her chest rising and falling as she slept, his hand rested on the curve of her stomach swollen with pregnancy . Today on the day of the anniversary of their first meeting he could never forget. Skye had arrived at the School for the gifted at the height of the centennial crisis. Her parents in a effort to keep her safe had moved her, in the height of winter camping and keeping to the woods and for Skye who suffered from arthritis, and had a weakened immune system from the medication used to treat her it had all almost come to end when she had caught pneumonia her parents could no longer keep moving her they had been camping in tents, and keeping to the fringes. Professor Xavier had located and sent the X-men to help just in time. “Jean she's seizing again! KID! KID!” Damien had stood and watched in horror as he watched Logan and Jean rush that tiny figure to the school's medical facilities. And he had followed. He couldn't explain why but he knew he needed to. There was something about her that he knew he had to be by her side. He watched in horror as Jean worked on that tiny frame as Logan pulled him fighting and clawing away. “Dammit Damien! Jean needs space to work!” So he had sat outside and than when Jean had let him he had sat by her side. And when she finally did open her big blue eyes, he was the first thing she saw. And as she recovered he again never left her side. In till he became an official X-Men. Skye was wheel chair bound part of the time and used crutches depending on how her body felt and more so now that she was 7 1/2 months pregnant. Skye taught math and was like a house mother to the students here. “Damien your back early. I knew you were here. I felt you a mile away. ” Soft blue eyes opened with soft sleepy long blond lashes blinking up at him. Skye was a strong empath who could both push her emotions out on to other people and read others emotions. “The Professor X kept his word, He's looked after me well, so stop worrying he stay. Our little one is doing just fine and so am I. SHE is doing perfectly well.” The smile on her face was broad as she finally told her husband what she had been waiting months to say in person. Good news in rough times, it seemed that even when the centennials were no longer a threat something was always threatening their exsistance, the few moments of safe and calm they got were far and few between." I just ask for long posts, Damien is open for the taking or I can play him if no one else wants to(but would prefer not to) you can make up his powers etc. He is Skye's husband. We can share the main characters in the Xmen universe or you can play a main character, or we can share the main characters. we can have just made up ones. This is fairly open and I think this could be a lot of fun! We can make up whatever threat is going on in the universe as we go along. Any takers?

I might be interested but then again I guess I am more into a bit of structure so we do not all make up mutants with super powers like what is it that one mutant has the ability to rewrite reality not to mention the other one who could remake the world as well as the one who can disable all mutant powers etc...

We can definitely lay out the structure in the interest boards here and what limits, villains etc. we are interested in having and def. no unlimited type powers

Hi, Im interested but can I ask, is anyone currently playing a baddie\part of the brotherhood? I was thinking of either Wanda or Rogue (I love Rogue because she's a bit of a misfit, and I'd start her where she originally came from, since technically she was a brotherhood before being recruited by the Xmen) but more like Xmen evolution. However, I'll have a think. I'd hate it to all be one sided ;)

Like after doing some googling, I see that Kitty Pryde actually has a little dragon buddy too and its not just a stuffed toy~~<3!!!

So what exactly is going on? I have a kid with a mutant ability that could use some time in an educational facility(his public education stopped before highschool), but with his unique situation, I'm not sure if he would be a good fit for a team of super heroes. His 'mutant' ability is entirely a function of his body; he has no control over it, making for spotty performance in combat scenarios.
