"Light Screen!" Diamanda conjured a second screen that weakened the power of Sylveon's Synchronoise attack. Since the Mega Diancie had partly the same type as Sylveon, the Synchronoise struck home. Diamanda was getting exhausted and the Reflect screen wore off.

"Now, Iron Tail!" Liam ordered when he noticed the reflect wear off.

Sylveon charged at Diamanda with her tail glowing in a metallic sheen. After she leaped at the Mega Diancie, performing a somersault in the process, Shiranui made his next call. "Now, Diamanda; Explosion!" Diamanda radiated a bright glow before an explosion of energy issued forth, covering the battlefield in a thick cloud of dust and smoke.

"It can use Explosion?" Liam asked surprised. When the dust cleared, Sylveon was KO'd and on her head. "Neither Pokémon is able to continue." The official declared. Liam sent out Jiriaya, the Greninja

"Ice Punch!" Liam called. Jiriaya became Ice type and charged at the Dragon with a chilling aura surrounding his fist.

"Fire Blast!" Numeru breathed out a scorching hot flame that coalesced into a 大 heading straight towards Jiraiya.

Jiraiya took the hit but kept coming

Jiraiya managed to punch Numeru for major damage, albeit not as much as the Greninja suffered. "Numeru, Attract!" The Goodra did a courtship dance while her slime's scent changed to a pheromone-rich smell.

Jiraiya fell in love. "Power up Punch!" Liam called. The attack went on despite the infatuation.

"Numeru, Substitute!" When Jiraiya landed a punch, the Greninja punched a big gob of slime that resembled the Goodra. The decoy did not break.

"poison Jab!" Liam ordered. Goodra was immobilized by love.

"Numeru, Focus Punch!" Jiraiya's infatuation gave Numeru the time she needed to focus her mind for a powerful attack.

"Water Shurikren!" Liam called. The attack was able to go off. It would hit four times.

Because Numeru had a resistance to Water-type attacks, the substitute managed to absorb all four stars and keep its integrity. "You'll have to do better than that to get through to Numeru!" said Shiranui. Numeru charged at Jiraiya with her horns withdrawn ready to deliver a powerful blow with them.

"U turn!" Liam called. Jiriaya ran up and hit the copy and then retreated, sending his own Goodra out.

The substitute broke and Numeru was exhausted from creating it. "Numeru, Attract!" The Goodra's scent changed to the pheromone smell again as she performed the courtship dance. Numeru put a lot more effort into the attack as she had a crush on Liam's Goodra.

"Attract right back!" Liam called. Goodra mimiced the moves of his crush, causing both of them to have the side effect.

Both Goodra were in love with each other. "Numeru, Dragon Pulse!" Numeru was too busy thinking about herself, Goodra and lots of Goomy children to make a move.
