[IC] Yugioh: The King's Shadow

Serena said "It wouldn't have killed him...just knock him out for a while...my guess is that they saw the power he let off in the alleyway yesterday...and didn't want to take any chances..." Yugi looked at Yami and helped him up. "Good thing Serena was here..."

Ishizu nodded then said "They are alright. Serena was able to push out of the way of what looks like a hunting dart...brother they look like the darts they used to use in the tribes at home...did you find Odion?"

[Jazz]

Joey was still upset none the less. Seeing that someone still resorted to such things. Seto, at the time was scooting everyone away with his usual grumpy attitude and insults. Yami accepted his partner's help up, stretching his back a little though it hurt. "Indeed. Seems we were followed. I thought we wouldn't have. Seems I was wrong." He thought that with having taken offer to Malik and Ishizu's help on rides would have changed things. Only to Yami's knowledge now that it did not work like he thought.

"It is a relief that everyone is okay. However...I found Odion." Malik didn't sound too happy about it. "He was was locked up not to far from the zoo and knocked out. He's alright but it seems they used a dart on him as well. I'm going to take him back to the hotel. I'll call you when I made it back."

Serena was looking at the dart and said "I don't think we were followed...oh crap..." She looked around, her eyes wild now. "Yami, they followed Malik and Ishizu. Where are they?" Yugi pointed back and said "Back there I believe..."

Ishizu nodded and said "Alright brother, I will check on the pharaoh then...ah" She flinched, feeling a a sharp pain in her neck. She reached up and pulled out what she found was one of the darts. She stared, then the world started to spin as she faintly heard her brothers voice before she dropped the phone and arms wrapped around her to stop her falling, then everything went black.

[Jazz]

Joey and Tristen looked at each other before running back to where Ishizu was, having thought that she was with them. Yami looked confused. "But wait, how would they have known that they were going here? How would they have known about them at all?" Tomb Keepers were not known by many, only few.

Yugi's phone began to ring within a few minutes after Joey and Tristen went to find Ishizu.

Serena was thinking it all thru then said "how did they know...unless..." She looked around again and said "it's because they are keepers...it's not because they know you. The same reason they took Kabia. Information" Serena looked at Yami. "Someone is feeding information...but who?"

Yugi pulled out his cell and answered it "hello?"

[Jazz]

Yami looked concerned and with this conclusion, Yami couldn't think of a single person that he knew that would give out information out to them about them all.

"Thank god." Malik let out a breath of relief. "It me Yugi, I think someone took Ishizu. I was just talking to her when I heard something happen. I tried calling out to her but I got no response from her. I think something or someone took her." By this time Joey and Tristen came back, not pleased at all. Joey had Ishizu's phone. "I think she was taken." Tristen said, a grim look on his face. Joey felt nothing but guilt. Yami walked over to them, seeing Joey's shoulders shaking. He knew what was going on. Joey was blaming himself for the disappearance of Ishizu. "We need to leave. There is no way we go back with this large of a group. The house is over crowded as is and no doubt the only reason they haven't targeted Grandpa is people there as been others with him. We will get Ishizu back. But after figure out some new place to stay and make sure that Grandpa will be out of their hands." Yami declared, only enough for his friends to hear.

Serena said "I know a place. A place they won't ever find anyone. Yugi. I'm guessing your on the phone with Marik?" Yugi nodded. "Good, tell him we are going to get his sister back, and too meet us at the address being sent to him now. The rest of us, we should go on foot different ways to the new location. Adam has sent an address to your phones. We all head there now." Serena seemed to change, her tone strong and directed. Yugi nodded and relayed the information to marik while Serena pulled out a map of the city from her back and started to explain the routes.

[Jazz]

Marik listened to Yugi as he heard of what was going on and what to do. "Alright. I'll try to wake Odion before we head there. I'll keep in touch. Becareful you guys." With that Marik hung up.

Yami had noticed a buzz from his phone and looked at it, having gotten the address before putting it away. The others had gotten it as well, having looked before putting their phones away. They listened to Serena as she pulled out a map and had taken a look at the routes that she was explaining. Joey hadn't said a word which Yami and Tristen saw a bit concerning for they knew him being silent meant that something was wrong. Once these routes were explained, Tristen looked to Serena. "I'll partner with Joey." He declared. Seto had looked to the two and shrugged. "I'll go with Duke." Duke looked to Seto, a little confused but agreed. Yami looked over to Yugi and Serena.

Serena nodded and said "I'll take Yami and Yugi on the straight path. Joey, if you and Tristen could go check on Marik and Odion, see if they need help. I don't want to take any more chances" Yugi nodded and looked at Yami as Serena put her map away and said "We should leave at different openings as well. I'll take Yami and Yugi the back way. Joey, Marik is at the south gate so you guys take that route. Seto, that leaves the north gate"

[Jazz]

Joey only nodded to what Serena advised, deciding that they might as well with the route they were taking. "Got it, we'll make sure they are okay." Tristen declared. Seto and Duke only nodded for Duke looked toward the entrance they were going to take. Yami looked to them all. "Be careful guys, we'll see each other soon." With that, they began their departure, heading to their respective gates. Joey and Seto slipping on their Duel disks, Yami did as well after having slipped it out of the backpack.

Yugi slipped his on while Serena pulled out a different kind of duel disk, it was black and silver and more curved then angled. She slipped it on and said "We need to move fast. I don't want to be out in the open longer then we have too...once I get you guys somewhere safe I will see if Adam and I can track Ishizu..."

When Joey and Tristen got to Marik, Odion was slowly starting to come around, his eyes moving under the lids.

Yami heard Serena voice her concern about how long she wanted to be out in the open with their current situation. Though hearing of her wanting to track Ishizu, the pharaoh wasnt totally sure what to happen after. He just hoped that they would work together to rescue her. Though his thoughts were on the professor. Wondering what this man was like really and how he changed to the point that this man no longer seemed to be a father to her. Wondering what he was like in person.

Within finding Marik and Odion, Joey and Tristen came up to them, Tristen knelt on the other side of Odion who seemed to be waking while Joey stayed standing. Marik looked away from his brother/friend to the two best friends. "He's coming too." he told the brunette and blonde before looking back to Odion who was laying on his back with his head resting on the platnium blonde's lap. "Odion?...Odion." He called out to him so his voice was an anchor for the older man.

Yugi looked at Serena and said "don't you mean we?" Serena shook her head and siad "not in the tracking part. You guys are good but I can find her faster with Adam and I on the search. Once we find her and I scout the place out, then I can bring you guys in"

Odion moaned then opened his eyes slightly, the three boys coming into view. "Master Marik....what..." He sat up slowly, holds his head. "I must warn Ishizu...danger..." He swayed slightly, still out of it.

[Jazz]

Yami looked from Yugi to Serena as each spoke, though felt that this wasn't that should be done in a bigger group. He didn't doubt her and Adam's skills, but maybe, even the duel monsters could help. "Is there nothing else we can do?" He asked.

Marik smiled, glad his friend was awake. Though he frowned, knowing that Odion hadn't heard. "She's been kiddnapped Odion. But we're going to find her once we have a safe heaven for now. We had no idea that we had been followed." Marik slowly got to his feet as did Tristen, Marik reached his hand out to Odion. "Come Odion. We need to go. Joey and Tristen came to help up get there."

She sighed as they turned a corner and said "I don't know...maybe when we all get back together we can see what can be done" She looked around and pointed to a building a few blocks farther down. "That's the place. You two go ahead, I am going to find a spot and watch for the others and make sure they get in alright" Yugi looked at Yami, his eyes saying one of them should stay with her.

Odion took his hand, pulling himself up and said "I am sorry, Marik...I was too late. I saw the men and when I started to follow and call you, I was hit from behind..." Tristen said "Seems these guys have a MO for attacking"

[Jazz]

Yami nodded slowly, with what Serena said about them being able to help and what they would do later. Once they were able to see the building a few blocks down, Yami was listening to Serena but noticed a certain pair of Amethyst eyes looking at him. Looking to Yugi, he read his eyes and nodded slowly, placing a hand on his shoulder. That he would watch Yugi from where he was.

Joey nodded. "Not afraid to get their hands dirty if they don't use Duel monsters." Joey not at all please, but knew that he and Tristen would always be willing to get their hands dirty as well. Marik helped support his half brother if Orion needed it. "We should get going." Marik was ready to go. Joey nodded. "Yeah."

Yugi nodded and said "WHy don't I go ahead and Yami stay with you Serena? Better together then alone right? Bye!" Without a word he took off, Serena holding up her hand then sighing and looking at Yami. "I guess he has a point..." She leaned against the wall of the alleyway, looking worried.

Odion took the support, still not fully recovered from the drug. "We must find Ishizu...she could be in great danger..." Tristen nodded and lead the group out of the zoo, keeping a look out for anything off. "Think Duke and Kabia made it alright?"

[Jazz]

Yami watched Yugi speak up and take off before Serena could say a word. Yami smiled with the victory his partner had gained with their plan, watching Yugi head to the building. Waiting till he was safe their before his attention was anywhere else. "He does. Though I can sense your worry and yet I do not need to at you. What concerns you so?" the Pharaoh asked her, his Crimson eyes still watching Yugi.

Marik knew all too well with the positions she held within as a Tomb keeper and the associations they were apart of. With them making their way to their objective for reaching their 'safe zone'. Joey too watched their surroundings before answering. "I don't think we have to worry about Duke and Kaiba. They know how to get their hands dirty when it comes to it." Joey assured them, knowing Duke and Kaiba could handle themselves like Joey and Tristen could.

She sighed and said "The fact they got the jump on us...and why they could be targeting the tomb keepers...my theories are not on the positive side..." She rolled her neck and said "They may have tracking them all along..."

Tristen nodded and said "That's true...so...with all this Shadow Guardian stuff...you think Serena and Yami will be able to work together like they did back then? If all of the stuff said is true?"

[Jazz]

Yami knew that there wasn't anything exactly positive about this, but that was because all of this almost anything but good. "Maybe. Thought we all were playing it safe. We may want to send someone to scoop this area without being detected. It would not be wise to be just us without possibly being caught by surprise." He advised, seeing it as a way to cover them in some fashion seeing as how this enemy of theirs has been done nothing but that.

Joey shrugged. "I don't doubt it with all that's been happenin' here. Honestly I believe it's true. Ishizu and Malik haven't really been wrong about anythin' that they've told Yami. Why would anything they said be doubted now? I'm sure they can pull it off. They have us and each other." Joey said with much optimism.
