[IC] Yugioh: The King's Shadow

Tristen grabbed Joey as Serena knelt down by the back door and popped the lock and opened it. "We should split up. One group look for Ishizu, the other look for the goons before they steal what they might be after" Tristen dragged Joey and said "We will look for bad guys, You find Ishizu" Serena nodded and looked at Yami and Seto. "Shall we?"

Ishizu was tied to a chair, two men in robes standing in front of her. She looked up and said "I already told you...I won't tell you anything about my king..." One man knelt down and pulled back his hood. He was a younger man, bright green eyes looking at her under long black hair tied back. "You miss understand, Ms. Ishtar...we don't want your king just yet...we need to find the King of Shadows...and to do that we have to get the King's Heart and Soul as well...but one problem at a time" The door opened and another hooded figure walked in. "Sir, there isn't any sign of the key..." The boss turned and said "Keep looking. It has to be here. The master said it was in the city...he saw it here"

[Jazz]

Yami looked back to Joey who was being held back by Tristen of which said blonde stayed still till Tristen became his voice of reason in what they were going to do. Joey seemed to be okay with taking out the goons for he was ready to deck some idiots that kiddnapped their friend. Yami and Seto looked to each other before looking to Serena. Seto with a confident smirk on his lips while Yami just looked all out determined as their duel disks activated and ready to inside. Yami was only slightly relieved that Yugi was not here to witness this. Unknown of what was going on, on the other side.

Serena headed inside, heading for the basement first. She looked around and said "I don't sense anything yet...maybe we got lucky and..." Suddenly yhr lights went out and a purple fog appeared. She sighed and said "I really need to not talk when I'm ahead..."

Ishizu looked up at the man and said "Who are you?" He turned to her and smiled. "You can call me Drake...and I promise, no harm will come to you. I am here to make sure the plan goes right...and that we get what we are after, nothing more" She narrowed her eyes and said "Who is this King of Shadows?" Drake smiled and siad "You will see soon enough...one of the gates we open will lead us right to him..."

[Jazz]

Yami and Seto followed Serena to the basement, both looking around for any signs of what could be Ishizu. Yami too had sensed nothing as Seto scoffed at the fact that they had come to a dead end and sighed when the lights when out and a fog appeared. "That seems be the best idea I have heard thus far." Seto agreed as Yami glared at him. "Seto. This is no time for scolding anyone." Yami's puzzle seemed to start reacting to the fog. "Seems we may have just been forced into the Shadow Realm. I wonder what is has for us today."

Serena turned her duel disk on and said "Don't forget Seto...I was the one you saved you last time remember" She opened a door and they walked into to a huge storage room. She looked around and said "My guess they have her in one of the offices down here...we need to find another door..."

Ishizu watched as Drake gave orders and she closed her eyes. She used to have a item of the king, so she knew how to use the power of the shadows. She focused and willed a creature from her deck to appear. She hoped that it would work.

[Jazz]

Seto glanced his blue gaze toward Serena and smirked before looking ahead. "It hard not to forget. But right now is not the times to think of the good old times and think about Ishizu." Seto stated, looking at the storage room. "Seems we will need to start looking." Yami declared, taking cautious steps further inside. Seto following soon after.

Serena looked around then suddenly went flying backward, hitting a crate hard. She slid to the floor and hit the ground, a fairy flying above her. Hound of the guardian appeared and barked, jumping at the creature and chased after it. Serena didn't move, a box from above falling and aiming to land on her.

[Jazz]

Yami heard a slam of something being hit on something from being, turning around as did Seto, seeing Serena on the ground and not moving with the Hound of the Guardian taking on what seemed to be a fairy. Yami noticed a box tilt and aim to fall, knowing he would not make it in time, the Pharaoh pulled out a card from his deck and placed it on the Duel Disk. "Defender!" Yami summoned a magical warrior of blue and yellow armor with red jewels with a blue and yellow tower shield with a red jewel in the middle of the Shield. Defender with his blue flowing cape appeared over Serena and used his tower shield, holding it over them so Serena was safe from harm. Yami ran toward her during this as Seto pulled out a card as well though to help the hound. "Vorse Raider! Take out that pesky fairy."

The fairy hissed and aimed for the pair again but Hiund teamed up with Raider and the Hound moved to block the fairy, giving Raidet an opening to take it out. Serena was out cold, a nasty bump on her head from the crate.

[Jazz]

Raider took the opportunity that Hound took to take out the fairy while it's attention was on the Hound. Yami kneeled next to Serena before having seen the bump on her head. He winced though relieved she will okay, only to understand later that she would have quite the headache. "Defender. Stay with Serena." Yami told his magical knight before getting up and going toward Seto of which the two went to find a door. As much as Yami wanted to stay there and wait for her to stay there, Yami felt it better to start narrowing the doors that maybe there so they knew where Ishizu would be.

Hound followed Yami, knowing that's what his master would want him to do. There was one door on the far wall that was unlocked and slightly opened. By the door was a small black creature with the Milliuim eye on its head. It pointed inside and they heard Ishizu in side.

"You will never win this battle. None who fight against the light win"

[Jazz]

The Pharaoh moved cautiously as did Seto as they reached the door on the far end of the wall though having noticed the Hound. Slowly opening the door, Yami was slightly startled by the small creature with the golden glowing eyes on its head by the door. Seeing it point of the door, Yami pulled a card out as did Seto of which they both summoned another creature. Yami's being the Dark Magician and Seto being Spear Dragon. They entered the room, expecting to find Ishizu and who knows who else might be in the room.

Ishizu looked over and said "Yami, Kabia" drake turned and said "well, looks like the party is here...aren't we missing one?" Ishizu said quickly "you must warn the Guardian. He is their target" she was trying to not give them more information then they already had. Drake smiled and said "our guardian must be somewhere...find them boys. The master isn't a merciful man"

[Jazz]

Yami looked to the Ishizu who they say bound with a few men around her and a man who seemed to be of slight importance. Yami though was not liking the mention of Serena within all this, it seemed to make him angry. "You will do no such thing unless you go through us!" Yami countered, his Dark Magician ready as Yami pulled out a few more cards. "Cerberus! Breaker!" Yami called as both beast and a red magician like warrior came at their summoner's call. Seto's Spear dragon came as Seto seemed to place a few face down cards that came and vanished. Though as this seemed to outrage Yami of their attempt to get Serena, Yami felt his power grow though dormant. He couldn't place what the feeling was.

Ishizu stared as she saw Yami change, knowing but surprised by his reaction and new strength. Drake smiled and said "I guess we are in the company of the Great Pharaoh...and Seto Kabia...the one Brother Jones let get away..." He moved his arm and his duel disk pulled free from his robes. "I would love to stay and chat...but I have a job to do..." He turned to the others and said "Take care of this...I am going to see if I can find this Guardian..." The others summoned monsters, most dark and fiend creatures. Drake went to Ishizu and pulled her up, pulling a blade out and resting it on her neck. "I believe we will be leaving together just so I'm sure you boys don't do anything foolish..."

[Jazz]

Seto felt uneasy with the seeping darkness of Yami. Seto felt his determination grow when looking to Ishizu who now was at the man's side and a knife held to her neck
"I wouldn't if I were you. If you want to leave, you might as well wait because you are sadly mistaken if I let you leave with a knife at a woman's neck." Seto smirked with his most confident and nonchalant tone. Yami on the other hand had seemed to have enough of this as his spellcasters went for the attack, their summoner having played a few other cards like Spell Power Grasp and Mage Power of which getting some power boosts to Cerberus and Breaker, raising their power from 600 to one thousand. Working easy to take out those monsters.

Drake frowned but didn't move. "You want to risk hurting her as well be my...what?" Suddenly Ishizu vanished from his side, reappearing by the door. She stumbled back to be caught by Serena, who was frowning darkly. She held up a magic card and said "You look like you've never seen a Teleporthttp://m.tradecardsonline.com/img/cards/YuGiOh/1172/big/CSOC-EN055.jpg card. Its handy card when you need too.." She stopped dead, seeing Drake. Drake stared at her as well, stunned as she was.

"Serena? What are you..." Then he saw the staff in her hand and the pendent around her neck. "No...you can't be...the Guardian?" Serena moved in front of Ishizu, a little in front of Yami as well. "I am...and I see you are part of the Brotherhood now..." Drake frowned again and said "I guess I should have seen this coming..." He reached to his ear and said "Brothers...find the two fools upstairs. See that they join the other souls for the great master..." He looked at Serena and said "Its your move Guardian...stop me or save your friends upstairs facing my other brothers"

[Jazz]

Yami had turned back when Ishizu had disappeared from the man's grasp as did Seto to see her behind them and Serena there with Vorse Raider and Defender next to her. Yami had not expected her to be up and around with the huge knot on her head but he wasnt too surprise. Turning back to the man wondering what the hell was going. At this point Seto could care less. This was not the time and on his mind was not the two teens up stairs when the man mentioned them. Yami looked toward the man that Serena seemed to know with a confident smirk. "You are very mistaken if you believe that you can catch those two. They are not easily beaten and clever then you believe." There was then a familiar roar of what Yami and Seto could figure was a red eyes. Yami's confident smirk didnt waiver. For he knew Joey and Tristen were winning. Seto honestly had to give the kid credit on his stupid luck.

Drake frowned then said "I guess are work here is done...Serena?" Serena looked at him and he said "I am sorry about this...I wish it wasn't you..." He threw a dart at Ishizu and Serena tackled her, Drake taking the chance to run thru another door. Ishizu looked up at Serena who smiled, the same darts as before in Serena's shoulder. Serena flinched then said "Is everyone alright?" Ishizu said "Serena..." Serena blinked hard and said "You two need to get Ishizu out of here...and help Joey and Tristen. I'm going after Drake..." She got up, the world already spinning on her.

[Jazz]

Seto took this chance to go after Drake once he began running, not having caught anything Serena told them. Yami however watched him go before looking to Ishizu and Serena, hurrying toward them, seeing the dart in her shoulder Yami took it out carefully. Yami though shook his head. "Seto already went to go after this...Drake." Yami had helped her keep up straight. "Come on, I'm getting you both out of here." The pharaoh having one of Serena's arm go over and around his shoulders. "You're coming too Serena. Trust me on this. You are in no position to go on a chase. We'll get Joey and Tristen and leave together. Seto will be fine."
