@potatochipgolem I'm unfortunately going to have to say no to the firearm. I think it just makes things a bit simpler if we have a clear divide. I hope it doesn't dissuade you though, because there doesn't seem to be any other glaring errors.

@Guilty Spark The cone of fire would be more powerful in that example, but a lot of things are relative.

Made my application. I know my example post is a bit on the short side, but the word processor I wrote it in made it look like a lot more than it actually was. I can happily make it longer if you want me to, but I feel like it got the point across. I'd also like to make a case on the fact that I'm running on very little sleep right now.

Alrighty everyone! Thank you all for your interest in the Silver Dagger Storyline. Jester and I are both very pleased with the PMs and posts we've seen. That said, it's time to temporarily close the thread to new people and announce who has been accepted into the roleplay.

As it turns out, we've actually liked everyone's characters so far! A few of you will be receiving PMs from us later today about making some slight tweaks to your character sheet to better fit the canon of the Silver Dagger, but other than that, everyone has been accepted!

Mysaren, Eschatologist, Golem, Inlaa, and Envy, you will all be participating in the story. So if you haven't already, read each other's sample posts and get started on your first IC post! Don't worry about our PMs, feel free to start writing now. All our PMs will remain non-intrusive.

Note: To everyone that is still interested in participating, please PM myself or Jester and we can talk about transitioning your character in at the first "check point" in the story.

P.S. Don't worry about the PMs we're sending, they will only be sent to you, and should act as minor notes and guidelines for the mechanics of your character and the Silver Dagger canon.

What kind of leather armor are you wearing, Inlaa?

Probably a coat of leather lamellar over very basic padded cloth. Runes would be woven into certain parts of the armor. Nothing special.

Also: matching bracers and boots.

EDIT: As an aside, I know the bracers part doesn't necessarily fit because she's not an archer, but... rule of cool.

@EschatologistI wouldn't sweat it. Responses aren't expected to be too long. We cut down on the Thaler's introduction as not to make the initial post too long.

I most start putting more stuff up in the OOC just so we've got an appendix to refer back to.
