It was total madness. The whole Pletano house was turned upside down, searching old corridors, secret passages, and down into the lower chambers that had been classified as off limits because they had been deemed the witch sanctuary. In hos office, Don Kyle Pletano, the head of the demon mob family in charge of two very special witches was flipping his neat office into total chaos. "Where have they gone?!" He growled, flipping over his oak desk.
Another demon came into his office, and he hung his head low. "Sir, we still haven't found the girls, but there is something worse that I should bring to your eye." He spoke, and Kyle forced himself to punch the wall rather than the demon before him.
"What is it?" He growled.
"On top of the Angels, we still haven't heard from Abraxas who also went missing. We think he was captured by the angels." He spoke, and soon Kyle forced his demon out of the office and shut the door behind him. He was still throwing things about his office. His home was destroyed, his men injured, and his weapons gone. It was hard to handle, even harder to swallow and he brought up his cell phone.
"What's the word on Lucifer's men?" He asked the other end of the phone.
"The angels haven't hit here yet, but I doubt they will. They were after the girls too." The.man answered.
"Come back, we'll meet in the initiation room. We have much to discuss. Abraxas is missing, Kai and Lia are gone, and now the family is in ruins we need to launch our counterattack." He spoke, hanging up angrily as he sat in the middle of his office, picking up the photo that had been broken of the girls with their.mother when they were young.
He would never fully admit it, but he cared for them when they were young and learning, but the stronger they became the less of them He saw as those two innocent girls. "When you two return, I'll have you in chains." He spoke, throwing the photo down as he looked.outside. "How could you leave when I have cared for you for so long?"

The night had been completely chaotic, the blonde with wavy hair pulled up into a ponytail noted. She looked behind her to see her sister and an angel carrying the injured.form of a demon. "I don't see why we are taking him too." The angel spoke, his bright green eyes piercing to Ophelia.
"Because he's hurt, and it's my fault he got hurt. Now, come along, we are not that far from where we need to be." Ophelia said, trekking through the dense forest that surrounded the Pletano home. They were miles out now, and Opehlia had.taken point, knowing she had.some work to do when they got to her secret sanctuary. Of course, her sister, Kai, knew about it, but this.angel nor the demon did.
"How much further?" Zephaniah grumbled, and Ophelia turned and flicked her wrist, causing the demon to levitate and near side by side with her.
"Quit complaining, or have you forgotten that you are gravely outnumbered here." She said, and Zephaniah rolled his eyes.
"Why haven't you two attacked me yet then?" He asked.
"You weren't with the other angels, just like he wasn't with the demons trying to keep us there. What's your name anyway?" Ophelia asked, looking to Kai. Her sister was her best friend, and the one she saught to protect.
"Zephaniah, but.you can call me Z." He said.
"Zephaniah will do quite nicely, thank you." Ophelia said, and when they got to a large oak, her hand twisted and Zephaniah was holding the unconscious demon again. "Were here."
Ophelia held out her hands and she.whispered something in an old language before a pathway opened. Zephaniah was stunned, but he saw the look he was getting. "Kai, go ahead, you too Zephaniah, I have to reseal the path." She said, and soon the.path Zephaniah found himself on with the other witch became stairs and they came.into a very dark room.
"Please place the demon on the table here. I have a lot of work to do." Ophelia said, politely as she.opened up some cabinets.and began pulling out herbs.
Zephaniah obeyed and stepped back, his eyes looking to the brunette witch. "So, what happened?" He asked, low enough for only Kai to hear.
--
Ophelia's eyes studied the demon. None of the other demons had ever thrown themselves in harm's way for her or her sister, but he had managed to get stabbed by an angel for her, and her spell had knocked him unconscious to prevent further pain. He'd gotten that angel though, hooked him good before he had gotten stabbed. She began mixing the herbs she had gathered and after she made her paste, she placed.it.on the demon's wounds.
"I'm just glad you're not conscious for this. It tends to be painful." She spoke, her hands glowing with a white light. After a few minutes she pulled her hands away and placed her hand on his forehead, lifting her previous spell. She pulled up a chair beside him and waited for him to wake.
