As a human Elijah was an only child, his mother dying when he was young, and his father a drunk. At a very young age he learned to hide away his feelings in order to keep from being hurt. His teen years were no different a lot of teens, rebelling, drinking, and falling in with the wrong crowd. In his late twenties just when he was starting to get his act together, the vampires started coming out of hiding and he was one of the first few changed before deals started to be struck. As a vampire he finally gets the new start he was looking for in a way, though not a lot of him has changed really. He still drinks a bit too much, and still tries to hide away the human emotions he has. Though there is still a part of him that holds on to some of the human quirks he used to have.

History:
Lillian was born the way she is, she has never had to deal with the worry of dying or getting hurt. Therefore for the first part she has never been forced to grow up. Her human was a human once and for the most part she tried to teach Lilly how to fake being a little humane. However, being born into money and human slaves she didn’t learn much more than now to be spoiled. She spends most of her time bothering Elijah because she likes to watch him fight to keep his human side in check. Also well as hanging out with Klaus because she likes him and finds him amusing.

Brief Summary of History
Anastasia was born to a high middle class family as the eldest child and first of five, born the only girl. She was raised a lady, a teacher and a woman by her mother and aunt with the knowledge that she would one day be sold to a vampire and mostly likely a wealthy one at that. Her brother would not weep though they knew as well what could happen to her; Anastasia has always comforted them with smiles, promising the send them letters from wherever she gets sent off - but these letters have been written over the years in preparation for the worst.
