This is a role play with a similar premise to the show known as Supernatural. There is an Apocalypse looming on the horizon. There is a Rogue Government Agency known as the Brave New World Agency. ((Formerly known as the Specialist Investigation Agency). Along with independent groups of supernatural hunters, magicians or anything like unto that kind of thing.
Brave New World Agency
Brave New World broke off of the S.I.A thirty years ago, believing that the world would be better off with it as completely separate entity from the government. Brave New World isn't as bad as the smoking man in X-Files, but they are less responsible for their actions, sadly, and can get away with being Jack Bauer far more often than usual. Brave New World contains magic-users, changelings, werewolves, vampires, cyborgs and even Amazons. With cybernetics seventy years more advanced than the current date in another known part of the world, Brave New World is one of the most powerful secret organizations in the world.
Independents:
If you don't want to be a part of a Church, the Government or large organizations, there are many Independent Groups. State what part of the U.S it's based on, or it's a traveling group, and come up with a name for it. State any benefits or advantages within your groups, and give a summary of at least ten sentences. They range anywhere between good hearted folk to underhanded conniving blood lusters, but the vast majority of them are people just trying to protect the innocent people of the world. Some of these people are packs of Werewolves and Vampires, however, Humans with special weapons, skills, and maybe a few special magical abilities or miracles make up the much greater majority of these special warriors.
The Theoi:
Very powerful demigods with heritage descended from the Mediterranean and Aegean areas, including Egypt's deities. They believe they are full deities since some of them are far more than a thousand years old, and are more powerful than most demigods, having only grown more powerful over the years. People with either direct ancestry or direct parentage to mythological figures as Zeus, Ra, Mithra, etcetera are highly sort after for mercenary contracts in the underground supernatural world. Devotees, in worship or just some kind of servile or minion like form makes this group very large. It's a secretly known group mostly only known in passing whispers and rumors.

The Grey Order of Wizards are an Order of Enchanters, Conjurers, Mages and Wizards, the distinction between them isn't clear but they take up names for different reasons. As The Grey Order they are well known for having roots in Britain but moved to America, in Enclaves of several dozen or several scores worth of members. The largest Enclave, Devin, Nevada, is a whole small town of them, just pretending to be New Agers. They know mystic charms, incantations, wards, and magical songs, old books from the Middle Ages, the earliest books being from the late 900's, and remain almost totally anonymous with absolutely no knowledge of them existing at all except as a kind of big group of magicians who sell copies of their books, adding substantially to people's libraries of knowledge for favors, or some kind of gain.
