Biography: With their mother being a wench, both Eline and her brother are bastard children with no idea of who their father is. Because of this they grew up without a father and a mother who cared little about their well being, leaving them with no other option than to take care of themselves. For a long time the two hunted for food together, until Eline's brother was offered an apprenticeship by the local blacksmith. Once his apprenticeship was completed, the two of them chose to leave their birthplace to find somewhere to live.

The boy soon decided to take on that task, and despite knowing that she's very capable of taking care of herself, the man is still rather protective of her.

She always wears light coloured dresses and walks on her bare feet, enjoying the feeling of the ground beneath her feet.
Biography: Ever since a young age, Elizabeth knew that she wanted to become a doctor. As a result, the fairy spent most of her time studying and practicing healing magic, not caring much for going out and having fun. During one unfortunate night the fairy went home late and came across a group of mages, who sexually abused the woman and inflicted harm upon her with the use of magic, leaving her to die afterwards. Fortunately enough the woman was found and brought to a doctor/healer who treated her injuries, although the fairy would end up scarred. As a result of what happened, Elizabeth has a very low self esteem, fear for mages, nightmares and cringes at even the slightest bit of physical contact. The only time when her discomfort with physical contact isn't a bother is when she's treating a patient, seeing as she finds the health of others more important than her own discomfort.

However, being a dark elf, he was considered of low birth, so his love for his future wife, Anya, a light elf, was taboo and forbidden. Tired of his life of secrecy, the overall political fumbling of Elsil, and its cultural restrictions, Malkas ran away with Anya to start a new life. During his travels, he met Harin and Grom, and the three decided that no existing nation could satisfy their desire for freedom, so they traveled out unoccupied lands and founded Soren together.

Biography:

Emtardas was an up-and-coming imperial alchemist in the nation of Mythos but joined the Mythos Senate's Alchemists committee, becoming a senator. From there, through various Machiavellian plots both open and underhanded, Emtardas weeded out his competitors and opponents, consolidating power until he crowned himself Emperor of Mythos. From there, he led Mythos into a golden age of science, making the nation strong. His goal was to unite all countries under one banner and to eliminate war and racial hatred. However, his radical new laws could not enforce racial harmony, in a violent rebellion, he was ousted and presumed dead, and the country eventually tore itself apart. At least, that is if Emtardas is actually who he claims to be. The empire of Mythos crumbled two years ago and that was about when Emtardas showed up at Soren with Reas. If he is the Dread Emperor of Mythos, then he is a lot older than he appears.

Harin hails from the underground kingdom of Deepfault, where he was a master carpenter. Ashamed of his crimes against humanity, Harin took his wife and children and fled his post as Chief War Engineer. While wandering, he happened upon Malkas and Grom, and decided to help them found their ideal village.

Grom was a celebrated raid leader in the Iron Tribes, a major alliance of orcish nations. However as he rose in fame, a jealous colleague conspired with the enemy and lure Grom into a setup in which he was branded as a traitor. Mercifully, he was given the choice of an honorable death or a dishonorable exile, and he chose the latter, taking his family with him. During his exile, he met Malkas and Harin, and the three came up with the idea to found Soren.

During said attack, Illithor's wife was murdered, though his son was luckily spared. Together with the boy he started a journey to find a new home. During said travel he met a dark elf, and the man was immediately smitten. They continued their journey together and after a while arrived at Soren.

Biography: Ryul spent most of his time in the village he was born in, but during the journey towards their new home realised that he was very fond of traveling. Other than that he finds it odd and wrong that his father started a relationship with a dark elf so soon after his mother passed, finding that it looks like the man is trying to replace his former wife. He also doesn't seem to be fond of the fact that his father's new girlfriend is expecting.

Biography: Talila grew up in a poor home, where her only option was stealing to survive. Knowing no other way to live and having built up the reputation of a thief since a young age, Talila kept living the life of a thief, until one day, the dark elf decided that she had grown tired of her lifestyle and wanted something different. She chose to leave to a faraway place where she isn't known and on her way met an elf and his son, and it didn't take very long for her to fall in love with the man. By the time the three of them arrived at Soren, the woman was already pregnant of her first child.

Biography: Ever since she was able to take care of herself Freya lived the life of a rogue on the road. After having saved her life, the woman was accompanied by a mercenary for a long time. The two eventually made plans to leave the country and start a new life together with a clean slate, though the night before they would marry in secrecy and leave, the mercenary was shot in the chest. The woman revenged her lover and has been wandering around aimlessly ever since.
