At that same moment the TV in their room switched on with an emergancy broadcast of the news. Jason couldn't hear what it said so he turned up the volume, curious

Lila wiggled until she was resting comfortably against Jason and she could still see the tv, ears perked up in curiosity.

"Supernatural beings have been living among us and known about by the United States government. Today they were all put on a death on sight penalty without investigation, a new step instead of investigating further. The change went into effect when one was caught assainating the President. The leader of the free world was torn apart in front of his wife by the beast, the vice president has mobilized the massive cyborg military to kill all supers." Came the report of the news women. Jason looked at Lila before springing up and getting dressed

Lila was frozen, staring at the screen in shock, eyes wide. She eventually snapped out of it and scrambled to her feet, hurriedly getting dressed.

After both were dressed, and Jason had just finished grabbing his sword, the wall to their house exploded. Outside a squad of cyborgs moved in, holding wicked looking guns with a vicious bayonett on the end. Jason grabbed Lila's hand and yanked her into thier living room

Lila cried out and covered her ears when a loud explosion rang out as one of the walls crumbled down. The neko-girl gripped Jason's hand tightly as she was yanked into their living room. "What do we do?" She whimpered, pressing close against him.

"Run" Came the reply from Jason as he began to'move once again. Leading them towards the door to thier one car garage.

Lila nodded and darted the way Jason was leading her, trying not to panic at the invaders in their home.

Jason pulled Lila put into the garage only to find thier car destroyed by a cyborg. He pulled her out into the street and froze, all around them cyborgs patrolled, ignoring civillians while grabbing oyhers and putting bullets through their heads. The purge of the supernaturals had began

Lila froze where she stood, wide eyes taking in the horror in front of her. She watched as a screaming mother reached out for her child before she jerked and fell silent, lifeless body falling to the ground. A strangled cry escaped Lila as tears filled her eyes and poured down her cheeks. Her body was moving before she could realize what she was doing and she tore across the street, sending the robot flying backwards with a wave of her hand as she picked up the crying little girl then sprinted back across the street over to Jason.

Jason grabbed Lila's hand and pulled her away with the little girl, the cyborg having stood back up and running at them. "Run!" He yelled

Lila ran.

She held on tightly to the child, who ironically was a little neko girl, holding her firmly to her as they raced down the street.

Jason led them into an alleyway to avoid the cyborgs. He was breathing heavy now

Lila gave Jason a concerned look. She shifted the child slightly and leaned against him, trying to support him.

Jason caught his breath again. He looked at Lila. "The rebels. We need to find them. They'll support us. Lets keep the kiddo with us. Maybe we can keep her as ourown kid."

A small smiled graced Lila's face and she nodded. "Where will we find the rebels?"

"That's the hard part." Jason Answered the neko, looking around the room a bit

Lila nodded and leaned against Jason, closing her eyes for a few moments.

At that same moment a cyborg entered the alley, only to have its head explode after the sound of a loud gunshot. A man stood at the end of the alley. "No need to look for the rebels, we found you. Follow me, we have a truck waiting further down." He said and started walking
