Lila pressed close to Jason, looking up at him before looking the direction the man walked in.

Jason held the small neko close but began to follow the man. "Come on, we need to get away from this. Lets go." Jason whispers to Lila and plants a kiss on her forehead

Lila nodded and nuzzled against Jason's side as they walked, keeping as close to him as she could get. The little girl in her arms pressed her face against Lila's neck and Lila nuzzled her in hopes of comforting her.

Soon they were in a truck and speeding away from the cyborgs that were destroying thier home. Jason sighed and squeezed Lila's hand with a hope of comforting her

Lila snuggled closer to Jason as she looked down at the little girl in her arms. "What's your name sweetie?" She asked gently, the little neko starting upon hearing the voice in her head. "A-Alice.." She said quietly. Lila smiled comfortingly and softly ran a hand through her hair. "It's ok, your safe now." Lila said soothingly. "W-Where's my mommy?" Alice asked. The older neko hesitated before she spoke. "Your mother is in a very happy place right now and, when it's your time, she'll be waiting for you." Alice gazed up at Lil with wide eyes before she finally nodded and laid her head against Lila's chest, the girl wrapping her arms around the child.

Jason looked over at Lila and kissed her cheek. "We'll be safe wherever we are going... well you'll be safe. I'm going to fight against these monsters." Jason says softly

Lila gazed up at him and reached up a small hand to gently touch his cheek. "Just be careful. And come back to me safe and sound." She said softly.

"Of course I will love." Jason whispers ans plants a very soft kiss on Lila's cheek

Lila purred softly as she nuzzled her face against his neck, Alice having fallen asleep in Lila's lap.

Jason held Lila the whole ride to the secret base ghat would become thier new home

The neko, now feeling safe and secure in Jason's arms, slowly drifted off to sleep, Alice held nuzzled up against her.

Jason slowly woke the two nekos up after thier truck had pulled into a car wash and procceded to go down into the ground on a hidden elevator. They had arrived

Alice remained asleep against Lila's shoulder as they descended underground, the older neko holding onto Jason's hand.

Jason held Lila's hand as they continued deep underground before the elevator stopped, letting them'into a large parking garage. Beyond the halls of the base sat, it was clean and stuff like fallen shadows, except supers roamed free in the halls, helped make battle stratiies and were completly equal to normal humans

Lila stuck close to Jason's side, uneasy around so many people. Her eyes darted around slightly nervously as she realized resembled Fallen Shadows. Alice had woken up and was peeking out from where her face was buried against Lila's shirt.

Jason walked with Lila as they tried to find out where thier room would be, he noticed how Lila had pretty much adopted the other neko. It looked like he now had an adopted daughter

Lila felt the people looking at them as they passed and the neko's ears slightly lowered to her head as she pressed closer to Jason, just wanting to be in their room and away from all of the people.

Jason had his arm around Lila, holding her close to his side. After a while of walking they found an empty room and went inside, it had a couch, mini kitchen, TV, a large bed, and all the other things a small apartment'needs. Best of all, it was available and Jason looked at Lila "ours?" He asked her

Lila looked around with wide eyes before she smiled up at Jason and nodded, snuggling close to him.

Jason took little Alice from Lila's arms and carried her over to the bed, he set the little neko down, and watched as the neko crawled up the bed and quickly laid down. Something inside caused Jason to step up and tuck the little neko into the bed. He didn't know what it was, but he felt protective over the little girl
