A quick read of the letter confirmed exactly what they had imagined: The boy from before had indeed taken their possessions. The message tried to reassure that there was no ill will intended, it seemed, but the reaquisition of the bag still weighed heavily on the pale teen's priorities all the same. They simply could not leave it with someone else for so long. What if they started going through it or something?
Worried even further for the safety of the missing rucksack, Chiari turned back in the direction the counselors had left in, intending to follow them to wherever the boy from before had gone. If he was a camper here, then he would probably gather with the others near them again, right?
When they finally reached the destination the others had gathered at, the concealed youth scanned the group for the boy until their thoughts were suddenly interrupted by the sound of their name.
H-how? Is there someone else here by the same name ? There has to be! How could they know that? Looking around yielded no answers as of yet, as it was hard to tell who was reacting to which names, but it only left the youth feeling more uneasy.
I'll worry about that in a bit. They decided as they finally noticed the boy leaving the crowd to find his cabin.
This needs to be dealt with first. Then I can stay or run as it seems necessary. With this decision in mind, the pale teen followed the boy to his cabin, trying not to be detected before arriving.
