Of gods and men- still in progress

In a world where there was once as many gods as stars, it's easy for them to become forgotten.
A forgotten god is a dying god.

A war broke out between man, of those with magic and those without, it devastated many lands. Despite all it's ruthless power and versatility the side of magic, held back by its unpredictability, required training, focus away from physicality and expenses, eventually succumb to the other side.

While it exists it is greatly frowned upon. Gods too chose a side in the great war and are now considered either Arcane or Divine. All gods are also labeled Light or Dark.

Arcane:
They still believe and encourage the use of the old magics.
May be able to directly intervene with your wishes by breaking normal boundaries.

Divine:
Against all forms of magic.
Their blessings come through favour and fortune. Things may go your way against great odds but they rarely defy nature.

Dark:
Dark gods are not necessarily or more inclined to be evil, their morals maybe somewhat more questionable but that's only because they govern the necessity of unpleasant domains. Although because of the weight of their responsibility they are often more stern and serious.

Light:
Enjoyment, light-heartedness, freedom. These are characteristics light gods try to encourage.

A forgotten godly spirit has recently reached out to you to bring life back to his name. Through this game you will strengthen your god and in return he will offer you more.

Meanwhile your kingdom teeters on the brink of destruction, the king recently dead and his successors violently contending for the throne, the citizens grow unruly, the guards lazy, loyalties blurred with allies and enemies just on the horizon.
Will you be instrumental in the rise or fall.

Creation!
Pick the primary domain of your god, the aspect which defines him.
ie: war, hate, healing, death, freedom, spies, laughter. Try to make it broad because you will pick specifics later.
Next
Chose light or dark
Chose arcane or divine
Lastly a name.

Now create his chosen. (Your main character)

Name
Age
Appearance
Personality
Hobbies
Social position
Skills
Influence

Skills: - 15 point expenditure
Broad skills have a ranking from 0 to 3. After that you can begin picking specialisations attached to that skill.
For example, (sword fighting 3 - two handed swords 2)
For creation you can only put one point in a specialisation, 3 points in a specialisation will signify complete mastery.

Other examples
Archery 3
-Longbow 1
Diplomacy 3
-Flirting 1
-Bartering 1
Entertaining 3
- dance 1
- singing 2
Or

Arcane manifestation 3
-Fire 1
Arcane manifestation 3
-Ice 1
Alchemy 3
-healing 1
Occult 1
Brawling 2

Influence. 5 points expenditure, max 4 ranks. 6 represents top level.
Think of areas you hold influence be it a thieves guild, town guards, spies, beggers, aristocrats.

And the rest is still to come.
But I'm thinking the game will be focused around kingdom politics.

Please feel free to share thoughts, preferences and ideas!

@ActRaiserTheReturnedhaha love your enthusiasm! Thank you :)
How did you find creation? Enough points? Might up it to 15
I'm not sure about magic balance yet. I might change it so for each specialisation it needs it's own 3 points in the broader aspect?

Lastly I was thinking influence would be more like
Bards 2
Common folk 2
Guards 1

Thoughts?
