[OOC] A New World of Gods Chapter 2, The Rise of new Civilizations

@Ace of flames01 I know, but given the fact that certain Gods appear to be from illustrations, games, and so on, I don't think it's that much of an issue if I make up a God.

Plus, Sheogorath of the Elder Scrolls universe has no parent, I'd also like to follow the same concept. And, in the least, if I can't have that, I'd like to at least make up a fitting parent, given that I don't like the ones that exist in current religion/litterature.

@Malphaestus you can't make up your own gods, parents or other wise, we are using gods that already exist. sheo's case is no different. Sheo "exists" in a game yet is an existing god because he was already "made" from an outside source. You can't pull a god that doesn't already exist in any realm, into sudden existence. It wouldn't be fair to the other players.

@Ace of flames01 I'm in no means trying to be a bother, and I can see where you're coming from. But I have a hard time seeing how a father, whom will be in name only, and a mother, whom also is merely a name, being made up by a writer is somehow unfair to others. Of course I'll ultimately give up because I don't want anyone to distaste me for whatever reason, but I just don't see it.

You can make up original gods, I never said anywhere that you couldn't. Sheogorath is a made up god yes, but he is not from earth he is from another planet entirely.

Alien gods are a thing too so you welcome to do it that way.

The only rule to be remebered with original gods is that they cannot be from earth. They can be from an alternate dimension, and as there is currently a giant crack in the sky ic, your character could have come out of an alternate dimension. So that is fine don't worry about it.

I do not allow the godly parents to be labeled as unknown though as I believe that is just lazy.

Other than that, yes original gods are allowed. Just have to be from a different dimension or a different planet.

So by Rhona dying the earth gets destroyed? I feel like that's a bit op. The world does not revolve around a single god. Others can come to replace them.... So by the power of my GM, which is a power above these gods. That will not happen. However a huge solar storm for a few years can happen. Earth will be exetremely dry for about 5 years, untill she reincarnates that is.

NEW RULE! Certain gods can reincarnate when killed, however they reincarnate as a seperate being entirely with no idea who they previously were.
