Okie dokie, hello one and all!
This RP will be set between the events of the James Swallow novels (minus the Necrons *shudder*) or the 'Scions of Sanguinius Conclave (999.M41)', the results of which can best be described like this:
The Successor Chapters took this into consideration as well as Lord Commander Dante's original request for the Successors to grant the Blood Angels a small tithe of their Chapter's Initiates in order to replenish the ranks of the Chapter. The Successor Chapters unanimously agreed to hand over to the Blood Angels some of their own Neophytes to help their ancestral Chapter rebuild its strength in the wake of the Chaos assault—and in preparation for the oncoming assault by the Tyranids and the Forces of Chaos.
And the upcoming events of 'The Darkest Hour (999.M41)', which is pretty much a team-up (although not a planned one) of a Tyranid Splinter Fleet and an attacking Chaos force tearing apart the Baal system.
Each player will be taking the role of an Initiate/Neophyte from one of the Successor Chapters, or from the Blood Angel Chapter itself, and is certainly a good time for anyone who likes Spess Mahreens or the Blood Angels and their successors; I'm intending for this to be the most 'slice of life' Space Marine RP that I can get - as gritty as an unfinished driveway - but will need some imaginative participants to help.
If you are not a Blood Angels fan (unlike myself...who is a huge fan) then, short of everyone joining the Deathwatch, I might be able to shimmy-shammy in Marines from other Chapters, an attached lot of Sisters of Battle, or even an Inquisitor. Although I'm not sure about the first one so much.
