Either way, I found some exciting news. IX was re-released onto the Playstation 4. So that'll likely be the next game after Witcher 3. :D

Hey! @RyuHll I disappeared on you again it would seem. That...is a lot of times now. I apologize for that yet again. This time, my computer's charging jack started breaking down on me. It wasn't getting any power. And it was just plain cheaper to get a new computer than to have it fixed. So...that's the decision I made. And now here I am. Finally got a new computer, and got everything in order. Sorry for the wait. I'll get a post done for you on the off chance that you're willing to keep going.

Dunno if you want Mitsuki to step in at all. Seems his battle is wrapping up so, if you don't want him, you can go ahead and wrap up Baku's battle. He's just physically strong. He'll go down if Ryu lands a couple of a good hits. He's gonna get sloppy. Trying to speed things up since he's due for an inspection with his superiors. Had it in my head that that was the reason Mitsuki was on the island to begin with. So we can either end it quickly because he got sloppy or Mitsuki can intervene, though I was gonna keep his connection to the Marines secret for a while yet.

Yeah, sorry. This one was just kind of out of the blue. My computer already had a battery problem to begin with (as in, it couldn't keep a charge for longer than a few minutes) so being unable to charge was pretty terrible for me at the time.

Hm...yeah, it seems like it's time to wrap it up. I was debating on whether he should need Mitsuki's help or not, honestly. XD He's clearly struggled a bit by himself. I don't really mind either way, to be honest.

Eh. I see it as a dangerous match up. Marine captain against a relative newbie. The only reason I make Mitsuki out to be superior is because, technically, he outranks them. I'll give him a slight boost. I see their relationship being similar to Luffy and Zoro. Zoro seems to have more raw strength to him, easily the strongest out of the crew in that regard, but Luffy has more drive and learns surprisingly quick for being an idiot. He almost evolves during the battles he has. Picture Mitsuki being a bit stronger for a while, but Ryu can easily surpass him once he gains full control over his powers.

Yeah, I think that makes sense. Ryu is also very inexperienced when it comes to battle. XD So it makes a lot of sense that Mitsuki is a lot more competent than he is when it comes to this kind of thing. Ryu's main advantage in battle is his ability to understand human anatomy, so he'll be able to figure out weak spots more easily a la Chopper

Okay, so I don't know how much you remember. I had to re-read our posts to catch myself up. Ryu asked Mitsuki to come earlier and Mitsuki decline. He wanted to be taught how to fight better. He also Told him that he studied Devil Fruits in reference to him mentioning his power was strong when he saw him transform. So, I'm referencing that in my post.

Anyway, do you have any ideas for where to go next? The two escape the island after taking out the Captain and his two Lieutenants. Then what? I assume they're gonan need to start building a crew, but I wasn't sure what direction we wanted to go in yet.

I only vaguely remembered some of it. But yeah, luckily we never really made it very far, so it's pretty easy to re-read atm. XD

As for where to go next, that's a good question. I suppose our next step is to start thinking up their first actual arc. I'm thinking it could be one about taking down a pirate crew of some sort.

I'm also wondering if we should introduce Ryu to the idea that not all Marines are like that. Like...maybe they come to be on good terms with a local Marine base, to the point where they don't report Ryu's appearance or something? It could be a good way for them to start edging toward Ryu finding out exactly who Mitsuki is.

That could work. Yeah. Wasn't sure what direction you wanted to go for the crew. Obviously we have the captain and his firstmate. I assume we'll go in the direction of D being somewhere in their heritages. Also wasn't sure about potential romances among the crew. Just trying to get an idea of what we should be focusing on for future crew members.

For learning about Mitsuki, I think he's gonna hold to that secret for quite a while. At the least, til the Grand Line.

Hm.... I do like the idea of D being in their heritages. Especially if Ryu doesn't really remember much about his origins. It would be even more interesting for him to turn out to be a D, considering his Tenryubito background. Though that means he was somehow secretly adopted into a World Noble family.

Hm...yeah, that's a good point. Do we want to have a similar male:female crew ratio as the Straw Hats or something more like 50/50?

And yeah, that makes sense. I just think it'd be good for Ryu to start putting things together over time...and learning that most Marines aren't as bad as the few he's had to interact with would be a good place to start.

Perhaps as a means to control those of D? They're said to be able to overthrow the Tenryubito.

Hm...that could be. Making a D one of them would probably be a good way to do that.

As for our crew, I suppose it should be asked: Who is going to be controlling the next crewmate? Me or you? I suppose at that point, it would be up to whoever plays them to make them?

Iunno. Good question. I have some ideas for new crew mates. Any ideas on your end?

Well, I suppose we would want someone that's not a Devil's Fruit user, I presume? Perhaps somebody that's a good swimmer so that they're not dead as soon as they get tossed into the water. XD In which case, I do have a Mink and a Fishman character, though the latter might be a little too strong this soon? I dunno. xD

Based off the last couple of chapters? They're both pretty damn powerful. XD Fishmen are only really strong for the fact that they're physically superior to the average human. Which our humans are regardless. And they can breath underwater and all that. Jinbei is kind of an outlier in the fact that he was just a monster among Fishmen. So...if we chose a weaker race of fish, then maybe it'd be acceptable. A Mink seems to be massively powerful during certain phases of the month. Similar to Tony's rage mode, won't distinguish friend from foe but can do some serious damage. A Mink would likely wreck any early pirate crew we face.

I have a Devil's Fruit user that might be acceptable. He kind of comes with regular humans on the side of that from his backstory. Other than that, no one comes to mind right off the bat for me.
