Syra stood for a few seconds, stunned, before rushing out of the briefing room. Already, the first mission was rough. Syra doubted herself. The bob was a God like being. The Shiro guy was respected somewhat by the commander, indicating that he had some pretty exstream power and the others were definetly more physically stronger than her. Dam it... Syra thought, she was obviously the weakest link.

"Getting," Rao said, standing. He slipped his hands back into his pockets. He walked to the door, bumping it open with his hip, and started down the hallway, pausing to see if anyone would be joining him in walking to the hangar.

Shiro jogged out the room, passing buy the weapons locker to pick up his gear and a few extra toys from the basic gear, slinging a rifle with a bright green power cell in its chamber before heading down to his own quarters to grab a box of treacle toffee and then finally on to the hanger, probably behind most people, though he wasn't fussed, five minutes till take off.

Syra sneezed. She sneezed again. And again. She looked at her nose and spotted a spec of catnip. She attempted to brush it off. When she failed at doing that, she secretly left it on her paw-hand before continuing to the hangar.

Rao walked into the hangar, looking around. Even after all this time, it still impressed him to see all the dimensional vessels gathered. He stopped one of the workers to ask where the designated ship then followed the directions, tossing a wave and a smile back to the woman.

Bob hovers around the ship, smiling as he spray-paints ponies on to it. Bob has always liked animals. Esspecially cats. Cats were fun. Hesitating, Bob switched to a cat motif halfway through the pony, which turned into something that can only be described as a Sin against Nature. Bob looked, and approved. Drawing it out of the ship, he imbued it with some of his essence, and, riding his pink new steed, he rode circles through the air, flying around the ship. Belatedly, Bob realized that he had forgotten to add wings, and the pony-cat-monster crashed into the abyss, screaming in a human woman's voice, before being crushed against one of the ships on a lower dock. Bob stared at the blot of pink and purple gore on the space ship's windshield, and inched through a wall, whistling awkwardly.

Syra slipped into the hangar and was instantly annoyed by Bobs whistling. She sighed and mentally counted to ten before settling herself down. She batted at the pink ribbon that was still hanging onto her ear with he paw-hands. She quietly growled and gave up, the ribbon still upon her head. She really hated Bob right now.

Shiro walked in and within seconds was allready debating how fast he could kill two of the people there. Passing Syra he picked the ribbon off her ear lazily and placed it in her paw. "We should be on the ship. It's going to jump in a few minutes." he pointed out and offered his hand to help her up, smiling as he did so. "At any rate the Idiot god should get lost in the void, unless he gets on the ship." he added absentmindedly.

Syra smiled, masking the embarrassment of not being to complete such a simple task. "Yeah, I'm hoping that does happen, I don't think he quite gets the concept if personal space and other common issues" She agreed while taking Shiros hand.

Syra felt the blood rush to her cheaks as she blushed, no one tended to refer to her good points. "Well, I guess you could say that.." She said, not wanting to brag. She was indeed exceptional when it came to stealth. It was probably the only reason she had made it into Excalibur, apart from the fact she was part of a dying species.

"I see, do you charm the foes with your good looks or just disappear from sight?" he teased now walking towards the ship. "Never liked jumping, makes my innards feel like outards." he added almost conversationally

"I don't mind it, though, I do share quite a few traits with cats so it's kinda expected" She said. She was glad to be away from her new enemy but she felt slightly awkward chatting with Shiro. She wondered why while she followed Shiro. She wasn't used to talking to people who were actually using kind words, though she doubted that was the reason.

Shiro tilted his head. "I think you missed a step there. When I say Jumping I mean a void jump." he opened the ship door and smiled "Well, I guess I'll see you in a bit, I've got to get this madhouse show on the road"

Bob stepped through the wall of the capsule, smiling. He'd heard the exchange of course, and was greatly enjoying his sense of increased empathy. He smiled at Shiro, nodding, before stepping into a corner, almost laughing. His suit changed from red to black, and so did his skin, which was rather odd to look at. In fact, his posture and shape changed, until he was taller, with a stern face, what looked like a bluetooth in his right ear. At his side was a wicked-looking katana, the pommel replaced by a dragon's head. The sheat was black, with streaks of gold in a flame pattern across it. Bob sat back, and decided to observe the proceedings in detail.

Syra almost felt challenged by Bob as she let and inch of her metallic claws slide from her paws. They glittered in the light like pearls, fresh from the ocean. They were rather chunky, nothing like the claws of a regular house cat. However, Syra soon slid them back. 'I'm not thinking right...Just because someone brings out a weapon...' Ear splitting screams of the past rang through her head. 'Doesn't mean I'm at risk...' The screaming subsided and she was left with a dull ringing, bouncing around her head. She was used to the flash backs, even so, they still gave her shivers. At least they took her mind off the void. She's never jumped into something so intimidating and Syra had jumped into raging water falls with no fear.

Instantly, Bobstood over Syra. His appearance was the usual, his smile extending off his face, as his eyes lit up red. His fingers seemd to extend, as his gaze held Syra tighter than any iron, and Bob giggled, his fingers slowly starting to bore into the sides of Syra's skull. Reaching through, Slowly, blood ran down, as Bob pushed his fingers through the skin, and light cracking could be heard, as they pierced the skull. Once inside, Bob licks Syra's face, slowly, as pressure builds inside. Like a headache, about to explode, as it feels like your skull will is about to crack like an eggshell. With a popping sound, your eardrums snap, and blood runs down. Blood is coming from your nose, and your entire body is trembling, jerking, as pressure builds behind your eyeballs. Then, blackness, and only the pain in the infinite void.

Them, you find yourself sitting in your usual place, eyes open, Bob across from you. No holes, exploded eyes, or blood anywhere to be seen. Bob turns towards you, smiling, and cocks his head ever so slowly, his face somehow covered in shadow, as blood slowly drips down from his eyes. "You should catch some sleep, Fluffenstein. You'll need it, where we're going."

Syra blinked. She muttered something inaudible about insanity and flash backs as she grabbed her head and shook hard. That usually did the trick, to get rid of the strange thoughts. However, this one was not a flash back. Syra knew that, even though she was kidding herself that it had to be. It was more like a flash forward, or a...

'Present time. Reality'

She dismissed the thought. She's probably had just been latching on to memories then splicing them with present emotions. Yeah... she thought That'll be it...
