[OOC] Star Wars: A New Force

I have a question. When we finally do get to the point where Odette and Ben meet again (after the FA time frame)? I ws picturing some sort of light saber fight between the two of them. But my question is did we want it to where-

a. They see each other and neither Ben or Odette know its each other (Odette in a cloak and Ben in his Kylo Ren outfit) and still think the other is dead?
b. They see each other and Odette knows its him but he doesn't know its Odette (her in her cloak) he's fighting and still thinks she's dead.
c. They see each other and Ben knows its Odette and realizes she's still alive when he sees her but she has no idea its him (he's in his kylo ren outfit).
d. They see each other and both find out the other is alive in that moment.

What do you think?

@AHeartlessNobody Hmm, That's a toughie. I don't think I can decide it on my own.

The Star Wars fan in me says, let them duke it out unknowingly. But that's a bit cliché. What if they both knew and instead, still fought. Some circumstance making them clash, even though its tearing them apart. Whatever it may be, it'd have to be something important enough to have the both of them seriously trying to kill each other.

Tell me thought, which of the choices do you prefer?

How about one of these two choices;
1. They see each other again, realize the other is still alive, perhaps a short warm reunion, but right after words the situation finally sets in and they realize they are on opposing sides. of course they would try to convince the other to come to their side, but that won't work. So, even though its something neither wants to do, for the better of the galaxy they fight.
2. Ben knows its Odette but Odette doesn't know its him, making her fight him not only for the better of the galaxy, but also as her own silent revenge thinking Kylo Ren killed Ben. And of course, Ben, not wanting Odette to know its him, fights back to defend himself.

What do you think? I personally think I favor the first one a little bit, but I'm open to either one XD Either way I think the part where they finally meet up again will be a lot of fun to write no matter how it happens.

The first one is my favorite too. Ben and Odette, fighting each other out of moral obligations is far more suspenseful than the latter. haha.

And what kind of relationship should they be in by the time he turns on the Jedi? Should they still just be friends with knowledge of how they feel toward each other? Or should they be in a secret relationship keeping it from the other padawans and Luke(or at least they think he doesn't know XD)?

@AHeartlessNobody That's a good question. I'm more for the whole secret Relationship thing but that's sorta following the line of Anakin and Padame. Not that I have a problem with that. Which do you prefer?

@Renny I kind of favor the whole secret relationship as well. Besides, with them two its different because the two of them work together and are always together, where as Padme and Anakin were always separated other then when they had downtime between missions. To me, because of Odette and Ben always being together I picture them being a lot closer to each other than Padme and Anakin were and having a stronger relationship since not only are they in love but they are also each other's best friend, if that make sense? XD So yeah, I think Id go for them being in a secret relationship. Plus it would make things more heart breaking for the two of them when they finally do fight.

Sorry If I never have much to say or add. It just that a lot of the time, I've felt I've said all I need to. I'm not all that good at drawing out dialogue, which is sometime I need to work on.

Anyway, I think Ben and Odette is about to see a jump in their relationship ;)

@AHeartlessNobody it's to be expected. Han and Leia are some pretty ppl, though we're not really talking about it... Both of our characters are really attractive. Not to mention that chemistry <3

I can't imagine him not seeing it but I don't see him out right saying no, don't do it either. Especially considering he's like the first of a new generation. He might not be as strict about it seeing as he's not as tightwadded as most Jedi

@renny so even though he does know, should he just kinda pretend he doesnt know? Kind of like he sees they want to keep it a secret so he acts like he doesnt know so that they are more comfortable about it all (since obviously she and Ben dont want the padawans to know and all that. If that makes sense?

@AHeartlessNobody Yea. I think he'd observe us before letting us know he knows. And while I'm at it, I don't' think he'd let them know until he had cause too. He might even treat it as an experiment. Some kind of observation into the possible future of the Jedi.

@rennyYeah. I like that idea. I can see Luke wanting to observe them and treating it as an experiment like you said. Perhaps he doesn't let on he knows until fighting it out with Ben when he turns against them, kind of like 'what about Odette? What would she think of you doing this? Whats going to happen to her once all this is over? If you really love her you'll stop this.' Guilt tripping him in a way xD
