@Saarebas Yeah, it really sucked for me because my mother seemed generally cool with it until the very last minute. It's cool that things worked out for you though.
@Saarebas That's cool! I never knew you had to have a certain level of education to get certain jobs as long as you anticipated getting your diploma. I actually very nearly joined the Army right after my junior year myself, but I was only 17 then and my mom said no. She told me she was just concerned about my safety or something, but it was pretty embarrassing.
@Saarebas That makes sense, I guess you'll be doing it after your senior year then?
@Saarebas Oh, you're going back to school? I figured you were done.
@Saarebas I normally hate it when the IC gets sluggish but it isn't so bad when that fits in with my schedule.
@Saarebas Oh you know, OOC chatter and stuff. The usual.
@Loony That's all really useful to know, a quick glance shows me that there's a lot to learn about basic anatomy but there are at least plenty of readily available references for it. So does the stuff you start off drawing have a big impact on your style? I really like your art but I don't want mine to be a rip off of yours, so maybe I'll practice by drawing bugs.

And 10 different chili styles... how
@HaltingBlooper Goodnight!
@Loony You're right, hopefully withe enough hard work I'll e able to have my own decent art style. And as of right, I'm not really sure what I'd want to make. Maybe if I can learn to draw decent faces I can make those little square face avatars that used to be all the rage out of everyone's gem like I did with Spinel?
@HaltingBlooper It's infamously stupid, it looks like an SNL parody of the kind of thing Autism Speaks makes. It starts out with a black and white screen (of course) and shots of various, apparently autistic people just sort of... standing around. This ominous voice starts telling you about all of the various horrible things autism will do to your life, and then a bunch of people start speaking up in the most corny, self-righteous way possible about how they're going to 'cure' autism. The video is blatant propaganda, like a first year film student could have made something better.
