@BCTheEntity I'm pretty positive we don't have room for new gems right now, but that amount that's happened so far shouldn't hinder you from joining. I can't really imagine you needing to post more than every 2 days, we have several people who don't post much more than that. I can't say for sure how they'd feel about your character, but sadly it probably doesn't matter since they aren't accepting new gems.
@Akayaofthemoon Wow, I have to give you props for that because I never would have done it. I never had what it took to call out my teachers s a kid, even when they blatantly deserved it.
@Akayaofthemoon I wasn't either, I was just super lazy and bad at doing things on time. And then when I actually tried I was often so confused about the instructions that I would make it look like I was screwing things up on purpose and I'd get yelled at.
@Akayaofthemoon That really sucks! I thankfully never had any teachers blatantly choose favorites like that, but a few of them did have reputations for being abusive.

Still, messing with them like that must have been pretty fun. I wish I had been smart enough in school to mess with some of them like that, but sadly that wasn't me. And yeah, I don't really have anything against teachers either but some of the ones I had were just abusive jerks.
@Akayaofthemoon XD moments like that were the best. Or at least, most of them are fun to look back on now, they sucked when they were happening. It really is weird how short of a fuse some of them could have about people not being prepared, I thought mine were the only ones.

I remember one time my brother got sent to the office because, after one of his teachers was finished making some end-of-day announcements, he added one "And [friend], Mega Man does not shoot bubbles."
@Akayaofthemoon Haha yeah, for some reason teachers on power trips somehow had to be super over-dramatic about it as well. "YOU'RE DISRESPECTING ME WHEN YOU FORGET TO BRING A PENCIL TO CLASS!" and "THE BELL DOES NOT DISMISS YOU, I DO!" are a couple of my favorite examples of it. I wish I'd had the guts to threaten them like you did, probably wouldn't have turned out well though.
@HaltingBlooper I just haven't had anything to say and I'm sort of supposed to be gone... I'm cheating on my goneness right now though. And yeah, it's pretty lame that they do that. In my experience teachers can basically break the law and get away with it in some cases. Like I once had a 'teacher' who would make fun of me in front of the whole class and prevent my from going to recess when I had a hard time understanding assignments. Once we had a horrible music teacher who wouldn't let us leave after the last bell rang and the buses were getting ready to take us home even though that's against the freaking law.

@Akayaofthemoon Well, the offer is always good! -hugs-

@Loony I'm really sorry to hear about your head, have you tried saying anything to a teacher or someone about it? Knowing how infuriatingly bad most schools can be they probably won't do anything about it, but telling someone couldn't hurt.

I find chemistry interesting too, but that doesn't prevent desperately trying to memorize stuff that for the most part wasn't even on the test less painful. And okay, I don't know what gaz is but you go ahead and have that!
@Loony Ugh I know, those assemblies were the worst. Thankfully university doesn't require anything like that, they just clog the hallways once or twice a month to promote it. Also, welcome to Club Stressed Out Due to a Chemistry Test. The cookies and punch are in the corner, the pillow for you to cry into is under your seat.
@Akayaofthemoon Oh man, do you want to talk about it?
