@HaltingBlooper Oh, and since you asked me and I didn't respond to you earlier, I dunno. For me it's kind of like having a slightly dorky older brother who takes me to good restaurants and hangs out with me sometimes.

@Loony Pretty well, thanks for asking! Chemistry is the only class I'm still sort of having trouble in and I'm working on getting help with that. The rest of my classes are pretty easy and fun, my work can still pile up sometimes but for the most part I'm enjoying myself. How is school going for you?
@Loony Little Loon! I was worried I wouldn't get to see you!
@Saarebas Hey Saare! It's great to see you back! How's it going?

Also, I just got done making my mom's birthday pancakes and she loved them, woooooo!
@Akayaofthemoon Yeah. Welp I'm off to bed, it was nice talking to you. I need to study this weekend but maybe I can get on tomorrow.
@Akayaofthemoon Yeah, but I don't even get Cartoon Network, or any TV stations besides the local ones, so I wouldn't even technically be paying for it.
@Akayaofthemoon Yeah I agree, I think moments like that are really important, both to help us grow and also show how much we've grown as people until that point.

Ugh but I feel so bad when I don't pay for the episodes. I think I'll just wait until it gets available on one of the streaming sites. If I had my FREAKING PS3 I could buy it off the sony store and experience the glory of actually getting to watch the new episode on my television, but my friend has yet to text me back about when he'll be done "borrowing" it.
Aahhh spoiler temptation no!

@Akayaofthemoon That really sounds like a heartwarming moment right there. I had a similar moment with my dad but it was honestly less heartwarming and more tearjerking and probably too heavy for this thread.
@Akayaofthemoon I bet your dad is really glad that you love him so much, I know plenty of people who would have been far less forgiving in that situation.
@Akayaofthemoon Immature and flaky, that actually sounds a good bit like my dad. And I'm glad you were okay with your childhood and stuff. I don't know, I guess I feel kind of guilty when I talk about my (relatively) privileged upbringing. I feel bad that stuff went bad between your parents though, I mean I know that's common but it still kind of sucks. But yeah, I know how it is having a dad who you need to forgive for a lot of stuff, he put my family through a fair amount of hell for a while. I'm glad to hear things got better between you and him though, it was really sweet of him to say that to you.
@Akayaofthemoon Aw that kind of sucks. Fort Bragg is in South Carolina though right? That's kind of funny, my mom and I used to go there too. And yeah vacations are definitely a lot harder with only one parent, thankfully my parents were still together and actually had money when I was a young child, and after that I was old enough to help my mom with a lot of the vacation stuff when she wanted to go.
