Commission for Sri-Icecrown on World of Warcraft. (Watermarked for commissioner's protection.)

Commission for @Thespian, experimented on in Medibang Pro.

I just joined a little bit ago, so I'm unfamiliar with what's leaving and all that, but goodbye Harsh and happy trails!
I play a wizard who can turn into a dragon is that ok?

I don't mind that sort of thing, so it'd be fine with me. :)

Alright, that's cool. Just means we get to play out our own stories.

Can you tell us much about the world?

Since I try to keep it flexible for expansion, it usually depends on what other sort of continuities my RP-partners are used to. I RP anywhere from DRoP (Dragonriders of Pern) style worlds with some faint post-apoc hints of technology to flat-out medieval stuff with knights and swords and old-fashioned dragons. (LotR-style settings and Eragon-y things are cool too.)

I generally have one large continent that I fiddle with and new areas are added here and there for expansion. So far there's been an established forest, a desert, and a mountainous region although a visual map does not currently exist.

I will only take commissions if I feel I can perform to an adequate or WICKED SWEET degree, so feel free to throw whatever you want at me and I'll let you know if I can/will handle it.

As such, I've worked with PONIES (note: not MLP:FiM style, think more gen3...), DRAGONS, sometimes HUMANS, FURRIES, FERAL ANIMALS, & just about everything else in between. I am not very good at anything mechanical yet, however.

Form

@7th head
Name : The name of the character I'm painting. I like knowing their name because it gives me a title and and it makes the commission more personal for me and you both.
Gender/Sex/Identity/Etc : For your character. More personalization stuff.
Commissioner : Your name here.
--- For : If it's for someone else, put this in; if not, delete this line.
Wanted : What style / type of commission are you going for?
--- Additions : If you're going to ask for a complex background or otherwise, mention it here.
Reference : If you don't have a reference, stop everything and do not ask. I will not work without a reference image of your character (that you own), sorry.
Pose : How're they standing / laying? What are they doing?
Expression : What's going on in their face region?
Miscellaneous : Anything else I should know?
Payment method : How / what are you wanting to pay me?

Reminder: You pay after I have a rough sketch to show you so that I can determine whether or not I can actually complete your commission.
Additions, Price Adjustments, etc

Adding backgrounds...

Fully colored, painted backgrounds will add a +5$ per hour charge to your work. They're generally done rather quickly so I consider it a small, reasonable fee at best. The first hour I work will add 5$ to whatever charge is listed in the previous post and each full hour after will add another 5$.

That said, if you want an actual background, you instantly pay 5$ more, then every full hour after that first charge add 5$ more.

Visual samples of my backgrounds follow; these were part of collaborations I did with a friend for the Tokotas group on deviantART, so only the backgrounds are art I actually provided in these samples.

Adding animations...

At this moment in time I do not add or take commissions for animated things, although I will generally take and make process gifs of larger pieces I work on. This section is simply here in the event that this changes in the future.

"I want you to paint the whole thing"

If I am going to paint the entire image, including the subject, you start with the base price for whatever you want painted from the previous post and add 10$. After that, there's an hourly fee of 5$ per hour it takes me to complete your work.

Introduction

this is an out-of-date thread, dm me for more recent examples / pricing

I'll post whatever I'm willing to share at any given point in time whenever. Please do not use any of my work unless it's specifically made for you because some work will feature my own characters or other people's or just flat out commissioned work.

Commission Details

In terms of payment...

I accept:
paypal (USD preferred, all others accepted)
ARPG stuff for deviantART (tokotas, dracostryx, beardogs, noh, etc)
(sometimes) dA points
(occasionally) closed species / designs / etc. If you don't OWN IT and you just found it on google, I'm not interested. You must be able to provide proof that you made or own it.
(rarely) steam games / cards / etc
Do not offer:
pet site stuff (neopets, wajas, flight rising, etc)
stuff you didn't make
banners / signatures / etc (I can make these, so they don't really catch my eye)

In terms of trades...

While I do not normally consider trades to be adequate payment for a commission, I'm more than happy to accept art of my OCs, closed species, etc etc in lieu of payment, if you think you've got what it takes to make a good artistic impression. I don't bite.

In terms of rules / regulation / etc...

Art I make is mine, although you will have rights to use it. I will post it to my tumblr, deviantART, furaffinity, etc etc and have rights to use it as a sample in a portfolio, commission example, etc without notifying you. I will not use it in any other way, really. It's just put in the bin of "stuff I've drawn for other people."

That said, I prefer if it is not re-uploaded onto your tumblr, deviantart, furaffinity, etc etc because I will have already uploaded it in those places (with the exception of accounts wholly dedicated to art of the specified character, please don't). If you're going to, at least let me know beforehand so I don't come across it and think someone stole it.

Once I am paid, you have permission to use the art you've commissioned from me just about anywhere on the internet with the exception of re-uploading it to the aforementioned sites^. You can use it here on profiles, put it on your desktop, print it out and hang it on your wall, use it as cover art for your deviantART, tumblr, etc etc. I don't really care what you do with it after as long as it doesn't look like it's being stolen by someone random. I just ask that you credit me on the page or at least when people ask who made it.

If you sell / trade / gift / whatever a character featured in work you commissioned from me, you are giving rights to use it away to the new owner and I will treat the situation as such.

In terms of refunds, you are welcome to ask for a 50% refund if you cancel a commission or are dissatisfied with the final product. I will not give you a full refund because I spent time on the project, whether or not you were satisfied my time is still worth something to me.

For larger commissions, I work on my own time and when I do I charge hourly. I'm no Picasso, but I do value my time and my work. Things that will take me several days or at least several hours to complete will be priced accordingly.

You are not permitted to crop or edit out my signature. You will already receive an un-watermarked image, I feel it fair to keep my mark on there somewhere.

Minor edits are permitted to the final product, with any major edits already having been stated previously. If you don't like the pose, say something when you're shown the preview before I begin to color it. Once it's colored, I consider editing to be in the minor stage. (I won't redraw the entire image once you've okay-ed it for color.)
Literally every character I own is contained here. None of them are free to use, although I do have numerous designs in the specified folder for sale or trade.
