Can I get a quick run down of what the state of Okly is atm? I'm planning to have Nyarlathotep show up at what seems to be nearing the end of the battle and I want to make sure everything I think I know matches.

From what I can see, the rangers are almost completely wiped out. The bandits are retreating, and the rangers are starting to retreat. Their are two zombie knight things approaching the remaining Rangers. A few knights are also part of the battle, but they are off doing their own thing, liara is fighting a bandit named Kaird, aegis is battling a giant bandit, I think someone else is there, and Adria and two nameless Rangers are escaping to the west.

@mtntopview the timeskip has occurred. The little event planned can happen now. Grimlock should find himself in a dome of sorts. Conablum scientists would be the ones in charge of deploying it, so that can happen without me, by you NPCing it.

Personally, I joke about it, but I think the fact that Kalar and quite a few Rangers basically died for Adria, some bard they had just met, gives nice characterization to Kalar, and will be nice development for Adria.

Adria was able to unleash the book without interruption. Both Rangers and bandits would find themselves taken out of the fight, though the bandits would find themselves out... More permanently, as other Rangers quickly downed them. It was then that another ranger approached her, with two more behind him with the sadly, yet painfully obviously dead kalar in tow. Adria felt a pang of guilt, as she had indirectly started all of this. "My lady, we must depar-". The man was stopped short at the sight of something behind Adria. Curious, she looked back behind her, and noticed that the ones she thought were survivors, were what looked like walking dead men. It seemed the Rangers shared her surprise.

Adria looked back again, they didn't seem very interested in the battle. Though, I suppose the dead wouldn't be very interested. Now that she could see them clearly, she could perceive a pungent stench coming from them, even over the charred body of kalar. Whatever they were, it was doubtful her sound magic would have much of an effect. With the bandits on the retreat, and the dead on the attack, it would seem Adria's helpfulness had run out, and now all she would be is a burden. After a small argument, two of the Rangers began running off the battlefield, the body in tow. "best you go with them my lady." without looking back, he had one last request for her. Without looking back towards her, he said "Ensure you sing the song of Kalar Splint"

Before she could respond, he was already gone. In the short time she had known him, she had already been able to tell that Kalar had been a good and respectable leader, and she would make sure to follow his request. Especially considering that it was just as likely that it would be the first and last time she would ever see him. Adria turned back towards the Rangers ahead of her. They were already a good bit ahead of her, but it wouldn't take her long to catch up. For the most part, the path west seemed clear. And notwithstanding an ambush, they would be out of town quickly. As they left the battlefield, Adria turned back towards the corpse ridden square. Would they all be dead if she hadn't almost gotten herself killed? No doubt the question would haunt Adria eventually, but for right now she needed to get herself out alive. Lest the sacrifices of the fallen Rangers turn out to be in vain.

You could start out in Cyano's tor... Reprogramming chambers. And the ethereal could let you out for usefulness.

Thanks. I'm trying to get an idea of which characters/factions are active. I take it that quite a few people have multiple characters, but I'm not sure how many of those are alive and able to be interacted with.

Well, so far no one has died as of yet. Besides apocalypse.

The most active from what I can see, are me. With my 6-7 characters, all of whom can be interacted with. Savato, with the ethereal, bambietta, and eto. Lmpkio, with the conquerors, and ryu and gojirah, as well as biollante. Thewizardguy, with Nova and apocalyplse(currently deceased, will eventually regenerate), flamelord, with whatshername that I'm too lazy to open tabs to check, Sgt easy, with the yakuza and that fleet, mtntopview, with grimlock and starscream, dirty slime, with someone, archmage MC with light, and a couple of people I'm sure I'm forgetting.

As for factions, you have the goa'uld, run by flamelord. They are active. And located in Venezuela. You have the dark outliners, they are active. Though you would be hard pressed to find them, as they are in an entirely different universe, and hold a terminal monopoly for right now. You have the alliance of conquerors, run by Lmpkio. They are fairly accepting if your a villain and have something to offer. And then the imperium, run by thewizardguy, and it's equally accepting supposing your a good person.

Well. It seems Adria's first song will have to be a sad one. Don't worry, I'll make sure to have a song that won't leave a single dry ranger eye in the keep.
