Buddha isn't the only one who has hoes. I have lots and lots of hoes too. Why? Because I really like to garden.

@Wolf Paws I can relate. When I was hardcore working on a Pokemon RP I didn't sleep for 2-3 nights in a row. I figured it was time to sleep when I started hearing voices...

Honestly dropping the whole moveset restrictions makes more sense. but i am not the GM

(oh and if it wasn't clear, when I said Life of a co-Gm i was referring to my self Xd and the fact i don't usually take breaks)

<Snipped quote by AbysmalDemon>

But Abysmal, can i put something clear for you for a sec, The reason the 4 move limit exists is for balancing in the game, now here's the thing, The anime has always been based of off the games, but if you take a more realistic look at it, theirs really no need for a 4 moveset limit because it could limit creativity, but theirs a way to keep the 4 moveset limit and not at the same time,

just say 4 moves only to be used in tournaments, contest's, etc.

just saying

I can roll with that :D
I'm not even co-GM. I was just part of a pretty well-designed Pokemon RP before this one. They actually thought of everything.

But we need to discuss level. Does our GM have an idea? Stats are easy enough, but we're going with the 4-moveset rule. In the RP I was in before, we would get the Pokemon's whole moveset available to use up to a certain level, so we had as many as a dozen moves.

So this is new, how do we handle the 4 moveset rule? Do we drop or keep level? How do we keep track of a Pokemon's growth? Questions.

Well, we can all take a vote, or you cab just let us(The GMs) talk about it.

What I'm probably gonna say tho, is stick the the 4 move rule, because it's like that in the game, AND the anime, and the RP is going to be based more on the anime. But, idk

yea but I thought people here could at least ascertain different pokemon to different areas...

I mean you wouldn't find a Tentacruel in a forest, and you wouldn't find a Spearow under the sea...

plus the routes are described so yea.. people cna use both the list and the description of the routes as basis for what pokemon are their, plus it saves you time Abysmal because then you don't have to tell them how rare everything is.

I already started telling how rare things are, but it's ok :D

So I'll stop with the rarity telling, and let you handle it instead :P

this man brings up reason,

anywho

Now back to working on johto

I was doing rarity, based on what was in the area, but y'know, this works to.
By stats I meant level, movesets, ability, not Atk, Def, Spd. Sorry for the confusion.
Wait, so you're going to be keeping track of even the stats?

I want you to think about this. When doing this for a couple people... It's manageable. Especially with 1-2 Pokemon each.

Now think about doing this for months and months and months, for well over a dozen to two dozen people, not to mention by that time, each person will reach 3-6 Pokemon in their party, meaning you'll be doing it 3-6 times more, multiplied with how many more players are going to be joining down the line.

You want a more simple and manageable system.

And yes, you can meet your snowy on route one :D
Leveling, I want you to be handle. Of course I'm not saying, raise all your pokemons lv to 100. When you encounter a Pokemon, and battle it, the rule is you pm me for it, and I roll it for you, I will also give you its stats (move set, level, ability) If you think it's fair you should level up your Pokemon, go ahead, and edit that into your team. Me and/or the other GMs will be monitoring the char tab to make sure everything is good and well. @Sho Minazuki
Also, a heads up for the routes, some of the lower levels routes will have exceptionally stronger Pokemon in it, and some of the higher levels routes, will have lower levels, because parent Pokemon, and baby Pokemon.
Yeah, I'd like to know where the Grass and Fire starters are... Mostly grass.

I'm getting the feeling it's route 6 which is on Greenleaf... Which would make a lot of sense considering what kind of town Greenleaf is.

And yes grass starters in six
