I see how it is. Going around spreading a bad reputation for me.

@AcerRo

I don't know what you're talking about woman. Slander I says!

As promised the post is up. I think everyone is covered for the short go.
Even as Eli sat waiting, sing his little song. He couldn't help but listen to the birds. The birds were the best alarm system in the hills. As long as the birds sang, everything was gonna be okay. It's when the songs stop that you need you need to worry. The they stopped, so did Eli.

As the birds song ended, Eli began to pay attention to what was going on around him. It wasn't until Eric Miller spoke that Eli realized that the Raines girl had finally showed up... Or so he hoped. "Come to that idea by yourself did yah? Eric Miller?" Eli said as he heard what sounded like a bird.

Eli's eyes moved right to where the sound the came from. He drew his pistol and held it at the ready as he got closer to where the sound came from. With each careful step he notice something in branches coming into focus. "If anything happens get down that mineshaft, and don't stop running." Eli said to Eric Miller.

It was sheet of paper, with more than just a tad bit of blood on it. Slowly and gently he reached out for it. As he pulled back the note he saw the writing. "Who are you." Eli read aloud. Writing looked to Eli as if it were from a female, circular and soft. He was near certain that on the other side of the trees was the Raines girl.

Eli hadn't really ever talked to the girl but he knew for her to sneak up like that, she was damn good. Either hr was getting rusty, or she was something else entirely. He had little doubt she was in the better position of the two.

"My name is Elijah Craigh, Christi Raines. I think we met in passing on day when I was talking to your shit stick brother. The boy behind me somewhere is Eric Miller. Neither of us intend you any harm and it looks like you could use some seeing too. Blood on the note and all..." Eli said a in raised voice. He didn't wasn't to yell or shout for fear of who else might be close by.

It was moments like this amazed Eli the most. For all he was able to do. He had no fucking clue what to say to the girl. If the truth were known, he wasn't even completely sure she was there at all. "I know about your PA. Truth be told I couldn't careless what happened him. He was a drunken shit apple redneck who got what he had he coming and if I know that dumb shit brother of yours he'll come looking for you. I don't know how you two came out the same woman. Your Momma g-d rest her soul was a sweetheart. What happened to her wasn't your fault sweetie... I'm gonna take a few steps back and put my gun away now. Why don't you come out, we can talk and get you patched up." Eli said, struggling to find the right words. He back peddled to his bag and pulled out his own first aid kit.

As he looked to Eric Miller, he suddenly felt the need to justify his knowledge of Christi Raines life. "Family's been here since the Civil War. I know damn near everything about everyone's family. Product of living here for too fucking long." Eli said as he got everything for Christi.
Out of curiosity,@AcerRo, what time of the year does the story take place? It'll help with future posts as well.

That is a good question... Lets say... Fall of 2015? I always thought of this as a modern day RP but I never figured on the exact time of year or date.

I am so sorry I took so long. I got a post up now and things should do better now that school is ending and I am hoping for better wifi soon. Thanks for being patient!

Nah Homie, you good. Just don't pull a @BlackRose24 from Rebirth on me and turn up pregers after a few weeks of silence. I hope she's doing well. I need to poke a litte fun at her.

@AcerRo Just as an FYI, the note that Christi left says "Who are you?"

I kinda sorta was gonna with that or some variation of it. I would imagine there would be blood on it as well if I read your post right.

Imma try to get a post up tonight, if I don't I'll have one up tomorrow.
I get this is basically a pretty small rp with only six of us here but damn if this didn't turn into something well written. You guys are killing it.
@Thundercrash I really wanna wait for @Remipa Awesome to post but I really wanna post a reply to that.
<Snipped quote by AcerRo>

Alright, should I wait for Vincent to run into JJ?

I think that would make sense in the grand scheme of things. As long as everyone is cool with it and on the same page you guys can play with it how ever you want.

@Subject Zero@Rawk
@Thundercrash
You're good boo boo. I understand that better than most. I'm working two jobs, trying to find time to workout and train all while dealing with a bunch of legal shit with my family.

I got a full plate, so I'm cool with other people needing to take time.

<Snipped quote by Rawk>

Thank you.

<Snipped quote by Rawk>

Why not have him leave where he is and run into the fleeing J.J?...Maybe even literally.

@Xandrya@Rawk

I am a fan of this idea. I think that would be better than me forcing something along.

@AcerRo

Are you going to parse the next few posts for @Subject Zero and I?

@Thundercrash@Remipa Awesome
I parse everything. But what happens is up to you guys. I always the gm and plot movement stuff should be situational. Move things based in what the characters do not what I want the story to be. There are too many people who a good writers to force the story down any one rabbit hole.
@Subject Zero@Xandrya

Well good luck you two. You're gonna need it.

@Rawk I'm sorry I didn't get around to this before. Welcome it the Rp. It's great to have you.
Life in the military was always somewhat difficult. For those who fought, it was much more difficult. That was always a truth that people in combat roles accepted. There were always thing that had to be accounted for. It was all so easy to miss, someone on the phone, a person who walked up and down the block a few too many times.

As a nameless, faceless man stood on the corner, watching for Nate and JJ to leave. Eye on conformation that they where indeed there. "Conformation on targets, heading northbound towards  I-75 . Both targets are in the car." The nameless, faceless man said.

Men in nondescript black SUVs were starting their vehicles and began to watch  Nate and JJ very closely. "Copy that we are en route." One voice said into a radio. "We just need eyes on them, do not stop or intercept them. Keep your distance and try not to spook them. Do you copy?" Other voices chimed in with conformation that they understood the orders given to them.

As they followed one of the men couldn't help themselves. "Do you think they did it?"

"Don't see how anyone could have pulled that off. I didn't even think it was possible." Another form the backseat chimed in.

"Innocent till proven guilty. They are just needed for questioning. Nothing more." The driver said.

The conversation continued until a man dressed like another in the city if Atlanta approached Nate and JJ's car. It looked like another guy just crossing the street. Atlanta was never the safest place it the worked and what the man did proved it.

There closer the man got. The quicker and angrier he got. As he came to the window of the passenger side. He started hitting and kicking car with everything he had... And peopled where only gathering around.
