"Let me tell you a story about you and me. I used to roam the skies alone, until you called for me. You were called Rabbit Girl, and you were born on a planet I roamed once long ago called Earth. Rabbit Girl could create as many rabbits as she wanted with the wave of her hand. She fed me when I was starving. She fixed the lonely ache in my heart. She made me feel alive once more. We ran free for many months, and I no longer felt the urge to eat the rabbits. I tolerated them, allowed them to jump onto my back and curl up in the cold rain. Rabbit Girl would use the stars in my fur to make constellations. She would say, 'Starwolf, what do you think of that one?' And what could I say? I agreed with her as the stars appeared on my flanks as well as in the sky.
"We had roamed for decades together, obeying the one rule I had asked over her. Never look me in the eye. For my eyes were all the suns in the galaxy, and would blind poor Earth-borns if they looked at me. Whenever she asked me a question, she would stare at the moon on my forehead, or the stars through my fur, or at my great big paws. I never wanted her to look at me."
"One day, I just got so exhausted that I fell into a horribly long sleep. When I awoke, Rabbit girl was gone. I ran across the Earth four times looking for her until I came across her rabbits. They led me to her, hidden away in a large building, chained to a pipe with a human skull in her hands. The man who held her captive, Early Bird, fought me for her. I ended him quickly. Drawing Rabbit Girl's mask over her face, I took her away. It was there, in her red car with the doors flung open, that I realized I loved her. For the first time ever, I looked at Rabbit Girl's eyes. She was asleep, so she didn't even notice. But I moved my foot, or my tail or made a noise, because her eyes snapped open, staring right into mine"
"We locked eyes for days, months even, but neither of us could look away. I could tell I was blinding her. I could not look away, though my heart was breaking. When it was finished, Rabbit Girl curled up in a ball and screamed bloody murder. Her rabbits watched on. I took her to the humans in hope that they could heal her. They did."
"With her sight restored, I longed to talk to her. I ran to her and nuzzled her and praised her, but she could no longer see me. The humans erased part of her magic... the part that believed in me."
"Now you take solace in the human skull you cradle like a babe. Your memory is wiped clean of me, though I follow you in desperation, hoping, pleading you'll see me again. You never will. In the dark, it is I who curls up next to you and keeps you warm. When you look up at the sky and see no stars, that's because they are within you. Adamine having gotten the distress call from Damian on her communications lacrima ran toward the ruins of the church, she had been at the resteraunt drinking iced tea which wasn't far from the church. Adamine ran through the rubble of the church and looked on at scene, jogging up beside James she bends down "Is she gonna be okay?"
Alexandria manuvared the star craft around through the asteroid belt, she had been near the quadrant when she had heard the transmission and had immediately changed course for the small planet, Alex relied on the droid to inform her of any Empire ships on radar, so far nothibg turned up, it wouldn't be good for her reputation to be in this back water part of the galaxy.
Alex watched as the hangers doors opened for her sleek black and orange fighter to ascend, Alex landed the ship with expert precision and unboarded the jet, pulling off her helmet she shook out her long curly hair and leaving the droid with her ship she moved toward the Alderaanian man assuming his position of commander by his air of authority, Alexandria saluted him briskly before shooting her emerald gaze to her ship . "The Black Lily and her flyer are your command sir" Alex felt her usual formal tone that she took with her Empire suppressors seemed to fit the scene, she had no trouble switching between Empire fighter scum with formal flight practice and Rebel spy though she wasn't sure which was more needed at the moment.
Adamine hides a smile as Ghost trots to her side, his ears up and staring at Jessica as she turns and walks away, Adamine pretends to be scared and scoffs, she wouldn't waste her breath on the slaver. Reaching down she patted Ghost's side and pulled out a ciggerett and lit it, inhaling the smoke she blows it out her mouth and follows after the group.
Emory turned to face the man and swiftly held out his hand in a shake gesture "hey my name's Emory, and in looking to join Dragon Fang or rather learn about it so I can join, I wanted to speak to the guild leader, are you him?" Emory dusted at his clothes selfconciously and brushed at his hair with his fingers.
Val watched as conversations were exchanged, she turned to a near by table and grabbed a glass from among others and cleared her throat loudly to draw the others attention "I'd like to raise a toast in our favor, cheers to a long life without the suppressive rule of the Sith Empire" raising her glass slightly she takes a drink of the emerald wine and half smiles before moving back against the wall, she looks around the hall to the long table that the other people from Sanctuary were eating and talking, their eyes darting toward the new generation, hope gleaned in their eyes, they had high hopes the new generation would be enough to free them from their underground hiding spot.
Technically the Grey Paladins were still part of the Jedi order. With the Jedi order being so large at the time of their fall the Grey Paladins operated within the Jedi Temple as well as spread through the Galaxy. They were just seen as extremists by most "normal" Jedi, but would've still been hunted down along side the other Jedi to near extinction and could have even served as generals during the Clone Wars.
Also, I'm surprised with making a Grey Paladin that relies mainly on Lightsabers without any other conventional weapons as was their belief.
You do have a point, they were hunted down very similair to the way the Jedi were, we only have two right now, so I'd say that's a fine number since there are more Jedi right now than GPs
