Day 16 of only xfinity Wi-Fi and phone data. This constant struggle for device connection supremacy is driving me mad. 4 days remaining.

@Shoryu Magami I used to be able to tolerate secondhand smoke to an extent just because mom smoked. But, now that she's gone, I'm not used to it, and it REALLY bothers me.

Here's my gripe:

I'm pretty tired of my co-workers, if you can even call them workers...

At FedEx, we start our shift an hour earlier on Mondays to deal with the uptick package volume, but it seems like most people think it's optional, when in fact it's not. So when three out of 25 people show up for shift, it leaves us pretty desperate and we have to fill several roles at once. Don't get me started on the ones who don't even TRY to do their job right. I'm so tired of people taking their job for granted, especially when it pays well.

Every other day, probably only 1/2 to 1/3rd actually show up in time for the pre-shift meeting and everyone else filters in within 15-30 minutes of shift start time. I really think my boss is too nice on them. Being tardy for work is childish, irresponsible and just plain stupid. Shows you have no work ethic, no respect for your job or your employer.

I end up going in early for my shift to cover the mess made by the last shift so that I'm not left struggling to do my job later on. When someone people get angry because of their job, it's because they hate what they do. I get angry because I hate my co-workers.
@Halvtand Well, I wouldn't exactly say I'm anything of legend xD but yeah, hi. I'll have the details of my character worked out later today. I just got off work about an hour ago, and I'm beat. If I can make it work, I'd like to mix the elf archer with a bit of mage. Worst case scenario, I'll just be good with potions :3
For now, it's off to bed. Night!
Probably tossing the proverbial hat into this ring. Now I need to decide if I'm going with the mage girl or the elf archer chick. XD Also whether or not Shoryu's character and mine are already acquainted.
Thanks for the welcome, everyone. There's so much going on here that I don't know what to say next, lol.

@ArenaSnow Yeah, sorry, I don't have any to spare. You might wanna try a few doors down, I heard they just got a bunch xD

Hi, so... um yeah hi. I'm Ailyn. I'm really bad at introductions, worse in real life though. I'm sure once I get to know everyone, it'll be easier for me to talk and all. Real name's Amanda and yes, I am the fiance that Shoryu talks about.

I've been role playing for a while now. I can't count exactly how long, but I'd put it at 15+ years. Started out with the infamous AIM chatrooms and migrated to Yahoo as time progressed. Quick, one liners were entertaining at the time and kept my middle school and early high school brain entertained. When both locations closed their public chat rooms (thanks, online pervs), a lot of my friends and I just moved on to the private chats before most of those were limited in some form or another. As I progressed through high school, I moved on to the forum based groups, with my favorite one being a .hack board where I worked my way to admin status....just as it died. *sigh*

I can thank the boards for at least one good thing, that's how Shoryu and I initially met. Its a long story, but a good one for another time. I haven't been terribly active on boards or chatrooms since high school thanks to good old fashioned adult responsibilities, but now that I'm nearing my 30's, I'd like to go back and do some of the fun things I used to do, albeit with a little less consistency xD
Thanks to some of the stuff that Shoryu and I write together, I'm pretty proficient in working with several characters at a time in a setting. I prefer the longer RP's (group or one-on-one) but I could go for a goofy, random one-liner RP again.

Other than my RP experience, I knit, crochet, sew, craft and cosplay. Well, a little less of the cosplay part in the last 5 years mainly due to a lack of time for construction *sigh*. C'est La Vie. Been a gamer since the family bought a PSX back when I was little and I've been watching anime and reading manga since I was in middle school. I couldn't give you an absolute favorite for either category just because there are so many that have aspects that you can't pit against one another. I will say that I'm a Final Fantasy fan like no other and the anime of Gangsta (along with its manga) captivates and perpetually frustrates me to no end.

If you asked me what I love, I'd give three things: Shoryu, cats and tacos. In.That.Order.

But yeah, I think that covers things for now. If you wanna ask me something, go for it. I can't guarantee I'll answer it, but I'll do what I can. Also, I'll have strange hours similar to Shoryu's thanks to my graveyard shift at FedEx (not to mention how I'll be in a zombie-like state once we start getting holiday shipments in a few weeks) so I'll probably lurk for the most part unless I find something I'm particular to.

I'm glad to be able to find some RP'ers are still wandering around these days! :)
