The Academy is now closed! Be sure to read the exciting events!A new semester has arrived at Caldwell’s Academy Of Magical Talent and Draconic Arts. One where new students will be allowed to join the ranks of students that will one day be exploring this world as distinguished citizens with the Power of Higher Education Degree. At this very moment the head of the Academy is getting ready to receive her old students as well as any new ones that wish to enroll. This process of enrolling into the Academy is easily done by simply touching the Magical Picture of Caldwell’s Academy Of Magical Talent and Draconic Arts.
Lady Violetta was happy with her 3 remaining students who were now in Level 2 Classes. Hopefully, all three will be there soon. She was sure of Roisin since she was an orphan and was still at the Academy. She had studied a good share of the time. She now knew all of the names of the plants and potions. She also made a list of different summer classes for next summer.
Lady Violetta stepped out on porch to greet those who would arrive. She had her PLTs ready with last semester’s students. As she waited for the first one to arrive, she read the list from last semester.

Personality: James has an extremely good bedside manner, and can raise morale and brighten spirits even during the toughest of circumstances. This is not to say that he can’t be strict and demanding when it’s called for. His 17 years of service have made him militaristic, but he never let it harden him, and has kept most of his good nature, high morals, and optimistic attitude.
Bio: James was a MOS 68W5V (Combat Medic) for the U.S. Marines. He had been in the military for 17 years, he had been promoted everytime he was eligible, making him the rank of Sergeant Major, he is an extremely good Medic, and many say he was a fine officer. He had a lot of friends in the army, many he worked on, some who didn’t make while he was trying to save them. He hasn’t let this make him bitter, he realizes that people look to him to be calm, collected, and optimistic at all times.

He is a smart, organized, and calm individual who loves peace and wants nothing more then to protect people or watch people with potential to be great grow. Bio: Sky the descendent of Azure heaven, Sky comes from a long line of angelic beings known for being heros, paladins, and great warriors. This did not fully apply to Sky as he was more of the protector or guardian type. He now wields the family heirloom passed down which is the mythical artifact of Azure Astral Academy, The blade of Heavenly Storms. This weapon was not called a sword nor was it called a scythe like how it looked before when Azure owned it as it changes to suit the owner's best weapon. In Sky's case it takes the form of a strangely shaped shield. Having been a descendent of such things Sky is normally and inherently good with wind, lightning, and light magic. Though not being the only thing that was passed down to him was a talking black bird that from here or there generates blue sparks around her body. She calls herself Void Daes Ashdown. Whenever there is something he does not understand or know he turns to her. Since he was more of a protector then a warrior he has taken to the life of teaching those who can not fight themselves or properly use magic.

She is a lover of plants and seems to always be enjoying herself but she has a small attention span and is fast at mastering small things which lead to her constant habit changing. Bio: Venus is a herbalist, gardener, Potion Brewer, and an animal lover. She used to go around collecting plant samples and creature samples and study them. A lot of her past and activities are unknown though she is a warm person she can't be fully considered nice but is very loyal. She used to watch over the seal of the elemental demon of nature at a very young age and it seemed to have affected her skill type in magic and possibly her way of acting. She is quite skilled with making potions and controlling plants where she had received the nickname Vine Venom back in school days. Her most noticeable trait is her ability of analysis though it can sometimes last for a short time. Seeing as her family job was to watch the seal she by herself her parents were to believed to be dead or had been killed off by the notorious Reioshin.

Kagome can't be called fully evil but he is a sinister character who's search for magic has blinded him and changed him as he began to dwell more and more into darker magic. He is a calm person who has his warm spots but if he wanted he could quickly darken all light he has in him for short situations. He does though enjoy cute or twisted situations from watching Tessen and Gunsen fight amongst each other or act hyper to watching someone deal with everyone turning against them. He treats Tessen and Gunsen like daughters though you can't give him the father of the year mug. He happens to also have a hidden side for TBR.
Bio: Kagome Kagome researches ancient, new, and forgotten magic but his current studies have brought light upon a chance to gain great mystical power from lost earth crystal magic. This being the new focus of interest would kill to get his hands upon this magic found only in a special grimoire said to have been lost for many of years. Kagome currently uses creation magic using artificial birds and bird like creatures.

Bio: Madison grew up with her single father and her twin brother Jeremy. Oddly enough, it was her father who was interested in magic; she's actually a confirmed skeptic. She accidentally brushed up against the Caldwell painting without even knowing what it was, and now, she's in for an extremely rude awakening.

Bio: Martin had a good time growing up, despite being an orphan. He and several others were adopted by a rather generous and caring family. He and his siblings were well taken care, almost as those they were all related by blood, not to say they didn't feel any kinship towards each other, they did think of each other as brothers and sisters. Martin went through school fairly well, joining the football team as soon as he got into high-school. But due to faltering grades had to drop from the team to focus more on school work, failing to do so forced him to drop out. He is now yearning for a fresh start.

Personality: She used to be kind, loving and lighthearted. But gradually through her teenage years became a pessimistic, resentful and rebellious, Black Metal loving Satanist.
Bio: Chastity grew up in a very troubled home, because of this she looked for comfort outside of home. Going into high-school, she got in with a group of some very troubled kids, many whom had similar family problems like her's. She knew some of these kids were bad news, but her parents didn't care for her, and it seemed like no one else did either. Where as these guys were willing watch out for her, and wanted to be her friends, as long as she was willing to hang out and do the things they did. So, of course, she did, doing lots of stuff including: listening to their music, partying, drinking, doing drugs, and becoming a follower of satanism, though when most people hear that they are satanists, they assume some things that aren't true. The truth is that they follow LaVeyan Satanism, LaVeyan Satanists are atheists who regard Satan as a symbol of man's inherent nature. Their teachings are based on individualism, epicureanism, and "eye for an eye" morality. Basically this group did what they wanted, when they wanted, not caring what anyone else thought or said, and if someone did say something, there would be punishment. But some of the kids got into some big trouble and one of the newcomers killed someone, and himself, in the name of satan. Even though the rest of the group didn’t believe in the religious type of belief of satanism, the majority of them got spooked by it and decided not to meet up anymore. They all just stopped talking to each other, Chastity felt hurt and abandoned, even her lover broke up with her. Her home life became worse than ever, and she couldn’t take it anymore, so she decided to run away and move out of state.

Background: Roisin was dropped off at an orphanage when she was first born. She has bright copper red hair and deep green eyes which was considered a witchy trait. She was sent out to various couples but the couples would bring her back for one reason or another. She had her room even though it was quite small. It used to be a walk in closet at one time. Roisin had a special way with animals and she claimed to be able to communicate with them. She also had a hot temper and with the hot temper came her ability to make a fire ball. Once she was able to make fire balls at the young age of 5, she was no longer considered adoptable. She was taught that throwing fire balls was not a good thing and she would get herself into trouble. In fact the people at the orphanage did their best to make sure that Roisin did not get angry until she was much older and had learned how to control her temper. She grew up and was the eldest child in the orphanage.
One day while in the attic of the orphanage with one of the staff, Roisin found the picture of Caldwell’s hanging on the wall. She was entranced with the picture and walked over to the picture. She took a finger to dust off the tiny sign and she was pulled through the picture- much to the surprise of the staff person.

Tirah (Tē Ruh) is friendly, and helpfull, but refuses help usually. Even when failure is inevitable, she WILL NOT back down until she is successfull, and because of this, often over exerts herself. Not that it takes mch, since she fatigues easily, and isnt as mentally strong as she would like to think. She always seems to have something to prove, primarily that she could take care of herself. Her motto for life is "Im a big girl now, and i can take care of myself if i darn well please!" One good thing is, you never have to wounder if she is tryig her hardest, because for her, if it dosnt take 100% effort, and than some, its not worth doing. She seems fragile overall, and not very stable mentally. That wont stop her though, because there is a fire in her eyes, that he lets burn, and a scream in her voice, that she demands to be heard.

(Ill have to post a picture later, because i need to draw it. Im no artist, but i hand sketch all my characters pictures.) Tirah stands at 5'2 1/2 and weighs in at just under 100 lbs. She has green eyes, and light brown hair, that is always neatly combed and kempt, and cut to exactly shoulder length. She often will put her hair up on a bun, with a single lock of hair hanging from her bangs. She wears light makeup, when she gets the privilege of applying it, and tries to not go crazy with it. She is pale, and EXTREMELY thin. A cheeseburger and sunlight couldnt hurt her right? She wears lots of reds, as the base for almost every outfit, accompanied by black, gold, or white. Her favorite outfit consist of a light red and white lace jacket, with only one long sleeve, a black undershiry that cuts off above her belly button, red shorts with white trim, and white sandas that criss cross up her ankle. She also often wears very light, red fingerless gloves, to protect her sensitive hands from unnecissary friction.
She is a big girl and would like room 8 to herself to prove she dosnt need a roomate to take care of her.
Bio
Tirah's story of trying to prove herself begins from birth. She was born prematurely to a smoking mother, without functioning lungs, and a struggling heart. She came out fighting, and survived her first near death experience. In school, her doctor requested her to sit down during recess, and not partake in pe. She of coarse didnt listen, and broke her frail arms (yes both of them) by the end of the first grade, trying to play with other children. Since she couldnt be as active as most children, he teachers encouraged her to mind her studies, and enjoy books. She was reading the inferno, the raven, and similar works before she left the 2nd grade, proving to herself and her teachers that she was capable of intellect. Getting into the honora program was a difficult task, but she succeded.
By 6th grade, she found herself subject to cruel treatment from other students. She developed a comdition that caused her to bleed and bruise easily, and students liked to poke at her and watch her pale skin change colors. Due to stress, and her heart conditions, she had had her forst heart attack before middle school. Highschool wasnt much better. She suffered in an abusive relationship for some time, and only broke up with the male to prove to everybody else that she didnt need him. She spent most noghts crying herself to sleep while clinging to the family mastif, who died her junior year. During her countless sleepless nights, she would sit in the back yard by her beloved pets grave, pushin the soft dirt back and forth. By observing the moles in her back yard, she learned to control the earth, a power that supported her urge to support herself, which in the end gave her new hope in life.
Well, some smart alec had pointed out "Dont you need your parents?" When she said she take care of herself. So she applied to a school for magicians like herself, eager to prove herself some more. She had a hard enough time getting her suitcase in the taxi though! Her last words before getting in the car to take her to this strange new place: "Just watch! I can do this BY MY SELF!" And then she slammed the car door and demanded the driver take her away from the sneering and snickering faces behind her. A purely mortified look crossed her face when realized she had left her picture of her dog, and her favorite books behind. Another heart attack struck the poor girl, and the taxi driver rushed her to the hospital, rather than the academy, hence why she is a little late. She fully intends to not just catch up, but accelerate ahead of her fellow students.

Bio: Jack never knew his parents at all. He basically was raised on the streets and it shows in his attitude. Jack leanred he had to be tough or else he could not survive. So he to keep up his strength. However when he got older he was taken in by a con man who taught Jack how to trick people. However Jack got away from the man to use the skills for better uses. He became the typical Robin Hood type till one day he noticed a painting that could not be since it was far to detailed. He touched it and was pulled through.

Very active, doesn’t like being in one place for any length of time. Will fidget in his chair when he sits, but doesn’t get bored very easily.
Bio:
Ever since he was little, Zack had a tendency to move around. As soon as he learned how to crawl, he was off having grand adventures… and getting into trouble. He was known for his mischievousness and high energy. Later on, he joined a few sports teams. After a bit of practice, he amazed his teams with his seemingly limitless endurance and ability to jump higher and run faster than all but the very best. He even broke the state record for running 100 meters, but due to a technicality of an abnormally fast tailwind, the officials added a few points of a second to his run, allowing the record to stand.
One day, a friend piqued his curiosity. He asked Zack why he never seemed to get winded for very long, even right after a sprint. Personally, he’d never noticed this before, so he went on a long run, figuring he’d head back as soon as he got tired. The thing is, he never did get tired, running the entire length of his town. Turning back, he looked down to follow his footprints back home, but they were extremely faint, as if he had barely touched the ground.
Upon arriving home, where as usual both his parents were too busy with their careers to even notice, he looked at a map and discovered he had run an entire 12 miles in less than an hour. He later experimented more and more, eventually figuring out that he could somehow manipulate the air around him as a sort of cushion, propelling him forward while running or giving him that extra push when jumping. He also noticed that while he ran, he didn’t breathe in and out heavily like his friends, but somehow did both at the same time, supplying a steady stream of air instead of getting it in pulses.
On another of his long runs, he came across what looked to be a spray painted picture on one of the brick walled houses… except it was far too detailed to be spray painted. Intrigued, he stepped closer to the beautiful picture and reached out a hand to touch it… and he was, for once, breathless as he was sucked through.

Personality: Tessen & Gunsen are twins who's personalities follow the concept of the blue oni and red oni. Tessen tends to wear small reading glasses usually on top of her head but she is the smarter of the two and is more rational while Gunsen is more impulsive and instinctive. the two don't usually act fully synced unless they find it necessary and tend to argue amongst each other over petty things. They are though both quite childish, impish and at times hyper when they have nothing to do. Don't let their appearance lower your guard having spent most of their lives with Kagome they can become quite sinister like twin snakes.

Bio: Gunsen and Tessen had lost their family long ago as they lived in the village up in the mountains were they came across Kagome who was searching for something in those mountains. They had a kindred spirit with the man and having no where else to go and similar ideals they followed the man. They are now his errand girls that help him out and learn from him as they gain knowledge of more and more powerful spells. The twins are strongest together as they bull off powerful flaming wind combo magic. Despite them easily being able to learn shadow and mind magic they only know a few magic revolving it. They don't remember their last names.
