I am a widow as of June 6, 2022. I was married for 40 great and not so great years as well as many wonderful years. RIP My Sir.
I have no live muse (Sir was my muse upon which I bounced many ideas off of and he even named a few creatures and potions for me when I ran out of ideas.
I have started back to RPing after 4 sad years. Perhaps with the help of Role Plays, I can find some joy in life again.

'It seems that a new student has landed. Shall we go greet the newest arrival?" she spoke as she turned around. She figured that the 3 older students would follow her just out of curiosity if nothing else.
"Welcome to Caldwell's Academy of Magical Talents and Draconic Arts. I do hope that your fall was a good fall and that you are not hurt. My name is Lady Violetta and I am the HeadMistress here. May I have your name?" Lady Violetta asked as she glided to the person.

Yes they could have but they could not tell you about it until you were able to find your way there. That is a part of the magic. Once you have arrived and send your letter home, then they can talk to you about magic, ect.
