Uvian, perhaps you would be happier with high causel or low advance. Free is for those who wish to have quicker and shorter responses. If you do go, then I wish you well and hope that you find what you want.
Ninkitty, of course you may join but the students do not know anything at all about thier magical abilities and are starting from ground zero. Lady Rosewoode has been retired and this Lady Violetta is simuliar to her but is a direct descendant. Lady Violetta has made a few new things but the basic concept is still the same.

Lady Violetta nearly laughed but she did her best to remain solemn. She went to Micah's new room and spoke quietly.
"You do seem to think that you are important, young man. I have no idea who this high councilmen Stubbe is but I assure that The Creator will make sure that I will have all that I need and more. Besides that, there have been more years without a single student then those with a student. I suggest that you stop being so damned cocky and make a decision as to whether or not you wish to stay in this Academy. I do not tolerate anyone here to tell me what to do or not to do.
Also since you will not allow James to assist you, I shall do the job myself."
With that Lady Violetta turned the suitcase upside down and dumped the contents on the floor. Anything that she did not want the young man to have was instantly gone leaving Ipod and other items on the floor.
"Just for your smartass info, those items that I left behind will not run on MC which is the only form of energy availble on this planet. When the Hall Clock chimes at 9:55, I'd suggest that you be heading to the Lecture Room. All Consequences here are made by you and you alone. I do not have the time to mess with an unruly brat such as yourself. Anymore of this nonsense will put you on the Merit/Demrit list. After that it goes downhill. I will ask you when you get to the Lecture Hall as to what is your decision."
After she was done speaking, Lady Violetta left the room and the door quietly shut behind her. She went to Rinion's door and knocked.

James simply ignored Micah while he waited for Lady Violetta. When she arrived, she stared at Micah, as she spoke:

"If I remember correctly you are Micah. If you wish to be educated in the ways of magic and to be able to defend yourself with magic, you had better change your attitude or I shall send you back to Earth. I do not need any trouble makers this year like I had last year. I lost three students last year. Their families were not at all happy either. What is your decision, Micah? Do you want to stay here or be banned from Caldwell's Academy?"

Eric frown at Micah before speaking.
"You should speak to the one who is assigned to you. If you don't cooperate, you will end up in detention at the best or the dungeon at the worst. Now young man, I am quite busy with my own duties."

James came up behind Micah.
"There are no dorm or room numbers here. Now follow me if you please or if you don't please, then I shall call Lady Violetta who will not be pleased at all."

"I hardly think that you can do much to me since I am not harmed by normal means. I am made of something a bit more sturdy than that." James began to change. His skin turned to a grey and hard for he was a rock golem when he decides to be. His voice turned gravely as he spoke once more.
"You see I am a shift shaper of the nature sort. DO you think that you can do much harm to me now?"

James was a bit angry so he simply crook his finger and lifted Micah up into the air.
"Just remember that I am well trained in the use of magical skills and you are not. Now which academy are you wanting to attend?" James was now speaking in a no nonsense tone and had a cold stare aimed at Micah's face.

Lady Violetta walked up to the young man and spoke warmly.
"Welcome to Caldwell's Academy of Magical Talents and Draconic Arts. My name is Lady Violetta and I am your headmistress while you are here. Which academy are you wishing to attend and what is your name?"

"Undoubtably. Which Academy are you attending, Micah?" was the bland answer from James.

Edward simply ignore the remark but spoke as he walked into the Academy.
"We shall use the Spiral Staircase. All things are sentient in this Castle. If you misabuse something too many times or the item decides not to like you for some reason, you will not be able to use it if you get my drift. To use the Spiral Staircase, please your hand on one of the railings and ask it to take you where you want to go. If you do not move, the Spiral Staircase has either been offended by you or you are not allowed to go where you asked to be taken. Please follow me.
To the Students Bedroom Floor, please."

Edward literally gave Micah a cold stare which should send shivers down Micah's back.
"You are a student here. I am a staff member who is to assist you in settling into your room. After I have delivered you to Lady Violetta, I shall not speak to you again unless you turn over a new leaf. I just feel bad for milady. Come along young man so that you won't delay the Oreintation."
Edward then turned nd headed to the doors of the Academy.
