A local librarian has a secret that no one knows about. Even the way she lives is secretive. She does not look like anyone in particular so why is that detective watching her? What is her secret? Only the detective has a clue and she won’t speak of her past.

Anyone interested in an African Safari Adventure?

What I am thinking of is a female photographer that has been paired with a male photographer who is a chauvinistic, too good looking, smartass, ect for over the last several years. She has not been given a chance to do a solo spread in the magazine company that she works for. She does the work and the co-worker gets all of the credit because of who his dad is. She is fed up and a friend has recommended her for a job through an agency that makes camping gear and natural products. The agency has just started a new side line magazine which is intended to promote not only their products but also the wild animals.
Needless to say that after the big photo shoot that she works hard on and he just putters about enough to get the gist of the photo shoot, she is put down as his ‘sexeytary’ and his assistant one time too many at a large Photographer’s Awards Ceremony.
Fortunately for her she has received the job offer earlier in the day and in a fit of anger, she decides to quit without investigating the job offer. In fact she announces her acceptance of another job at the Photographer’s Awards Ceremony with no warning to anyone at all. She leaves this male photographer with his mouth open then stuttering with fellow photographers and news hounds as she slips away quickly to turn in her resignation paper, pack up her few items at the office and go home to accept the new job.
The job offer is a real beauty of a job with two parts. One part of the job will be a solo photographer/writer assignment with the magazine department. The second part will be trying out their new camping products while on the African Safari shoot. She meets her guide who is not thrilled at having a female camping in the middle of the jungle.

Is there a male who would like to be my Safari Guide? This would be a 1X1 RP so I am moving it there!

Here at Caldwell’s, we will have some rules to go by. Here are the ones that I have set up at this time.
1) Respect each other and yourself.
2) No dissing, put downs or negative thoughts or speech.
3) No fighting is allowed at all. You may be grounded and have your privileges revoked.
4) Try to include as many students as you can into your daily activities.
5) All students are required to be in class on and prepared to learn. That includes having your wand and PLTs as well as being able to demonstrate your homework or class work.
6) Pets are not always allowed in all classes. If they are not allowed, they are to be in your room.
7) Obey the curfew. No ifs, ands or buts about this. You may be grounded and have your privileges revoked.
8) Remember the golden rule:
Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.
9) Keep your rooms neat and tidy.
10) Keep yourself neat and tidy. Both of these rules pertain to professionalism.
11) Do your own work and do not try to cheat. The end of the semester you will go through a testing chamber by yourself.
12) If you act like a child, you will be put on a demerit/merit system until you can prove yourself to be professional magic user. You may be grounded and have your privileges revoked.
13) Ask questions and learn from other student’s mistakes. There are more than enough to go around!
14) I will make more rules as I see the need.

I want to speak a bit on Magic and its uses. I want each of you to listen to this carefully.
Magic is a tool that can be used for good or evil or anywhere in between. The magic user must be aware of what he or she is doing and why. There are consequences to using magic. Consequences can be devastating if the magic user is not aware of all of the effects of the magic that is being used.
The magic user is only as strong as his or her body’s endurance of the physical and mental abilities.
A) Physical Strength.
The magic user is only as strong as his or herself. Magic takes a lot of stamina to do and the body will be drained constantly when the person uses magic.
B) Mental Strength.
The magic user must be able to concentrate well, visualize well and think clearly as well as quickly. To do this we need to meditate and do mental exercises to make the mind stronger. Meditation is crucial to one’s mental ability. This is the way one learns how to concentrate, block out unwanted noises, keep the mind clear of intrusions and to imagine the impossible.
Knowledge.
The magic user must be able not only use magic but know the 3 parts of magic.
1) What is the first part. The magic user must know and understand what he or she wants to do with his or her magic.
2) Next come How. The magic user must know each step of the magic well enough to actually be able to visualize the magic being done in each step until it becomes as simple and routine as breathing.
3) When is the last part. To cast magic the magic user must know when each step should take place.

An example of this is putting your shoes on.
What would be the need to put on shoes to protect your feet from anything that would do them harm or make them uncomfortable, ect.
When would be like when you leave to go outside not before going to bed.
How would be putting them on your feet before tying them and to have the socks on before you put the shoes.
Your room is sentient as well and will recognize your Aura after you place your two hands on the handprints on the chosen door. Everything is in pale blue but tomorrow we shall go into town and pick out new things. You will have a list to fulfill and a specialized cart. The cart will have a special device that you will use to claim a cart. As you place the items in the cart, just scan them. It will highlight the items as you scan them. The aisles will be placed by each item on the list. If you want an item that is not on the list just type it in the search bar. Anything that is related to the item will show up. On this trip, I am allowing you to have extra items and money free. After this you will be given an allowance to use for your own things. You don’t even have to return the cart for it will belong to you. After you get back you will park the cart in a parking spot assigned to you by the Castle. That spot will send the cart to your room which is a small cart closet.
This afternoon you may change the colors of your room and the way your furniture is placed via PLTs. That device is Sentient as well. I will tell you more of that in a bit.

“Each of you have a Personal Laptop System or PLTs in the largest box. Please open it now. Your Personal Laptop System or PLTs will be a valuable tool.
You will have an independent study to fulfill called Mythical Creatures. And you will pick out your very own baby pet to study and care for.
Before anyone asks- NO. No you cannot use it to talk to anyone on Earth because it will not reach that far. Remember that you are in a different Solar System than the Milky Way.
They are super sensitive to touch. In fact, believe it or not, these LTPs are sentient. That means that it can think and feel on its own. I want to have you to be the first ones to touch them barehanded and imprint your aura on your own laptop. After your initial Imprintation, the PLTs will only work for you.
The case is opened from the front like so. When it is open, you will see the screen, the keyboard, and some new features. Keep the protective sheets on the areas when they are not being use will make your PLTs working at its peak. For the moment, please remove the two handprint sheets then place your hands on those two pads like the picture that was on there. Leave your hands on the pads so that the PLTs will register your unique Aura. After that is properly done, your PLTs will only allow you to enter information on it. You will know that it is done because it will begin to ask you a series of questions starting with your name, age, gender, likes and dislikes.
After you have filled out those questions, you may open the folder up called Mythical Creatureology. You will find all of the pets that you may have along with a short description.

“Now click on the folder that is called Mythical Creatures. Here you will look through the pet list to find a pet that interests you. After lunch we will go to town and you will be getting a pet of your own. I also have a list of items for you to purchase through your student account.
You will go into town for your new pet. I have a book located in the PLTs for you to scan through to see what you may have. Please choose wisely for you will need to be able to handle the pet for the rest of its life. They are sentient creatures. They will be either your friend or foe. You will have fun with them; have a lot of frustration, and work. Physical and paper workwise. In this book is an example of each creature and what is known about them. There are recommended tips to use. Each week you will turn in your paper work to me. However, we do not use paper here for normal work. Each of you a now have the specialized laptop. You homework will be on that laptop as well as your book will be in the case. You may look at the pets when we get to the pet shop.
When you pick up the phone it will register your aura. It will become yours exclusively. The phones has my number and Thomas number in them. If you want to add someone to your call list, all you have to do is to touch the heads of the 2 phones and they will register each other as a friend.
One last thing I want you to remember is that these items can only be used on MC- which is Magical Current, not AC which stands for Alternating Current or DC which is Direct Current. Any questions before we go to lunch?

No problem. I am the one who goes to bed rather early since I get up early. I usually am on Mondays and Tuesdays- after 7 PM Central Time: Thursdays and Fridays after 4 PM after 7 PM Central Time and the other days, I am off and on at all hours depending what I am doing.

Mystique stretched her long legs and arms as she yawns. The morning sun was shining in her room and she sat up on the edge of the bed. She stared at the room in disbelief for it was not her old shabby room in the dingy house that she shared with her father. It was bright and beautiful. Carefully she walked around the room to find her back pack. Then everything came back to her,
Last night she made it to a special school and met a guy by the name of...... she just couldn't remember the name! But she had to get cleaned up and dressed in something that was cleaner han what she had on. Then she needed to see someone about enrolling and how she could get a part time job to pay for things like new clothes or at least some decent used clothes.
In the bathroom Mystique showered and washed her long hair. Soon she was properly dressed and clean looking.
