Miss Linda had everything ready for whoever was the chosen detective. She wouldn’t know until the last minute who it would be. And she would not even ask such a question of Lawyer Dawson. He was a strange one, he was. She sat down to do some mundane typing and while she was typing, a buzzer sounded.
She checked her hair quickly before entering the inner office.
“Yes, Lawyer Dawson?” she spoke softly for he hated loud talking for some odd reason.
“I have a list of detectives on the desk for you to call. All instructions are listed. For this case I can not use my regular detectives for they are too well known and this is a secret investigation for an overly well to do client. Start at the top and stop when you find one who will take the job as it stands. I do mean every word of the instructions.” The man spoke from a chair that faced the window.
“Yes, Lawyer Dawson. I shall do this immediately. If I do not reach the first right away, do I wait until he is contacted before going to the next one?” Miss Linda asked.
“No. Keep calling one after another until you get an answer from one of them to do the job. If all refuse the job, let me. In fact let me know each time you contact one. Put the intercom on so that I can listen in. I’ll buzz you if I do not like the sound of the detective.” He responded not even moving a fraction of an inch.
“Very well then.” Miss Linda turned and walked out.

An hour later, Miss Linda had been laughed at, phone slammed in her ear and called a loony twice. Now to try the fifth detective.
She quickly dialed the number.

“Hello, this is Lawyer Dawson’s office calling for .” she inquired politely.

“I have a serious job offer for you if you care to take it.” She began the whole thing once more in hopes that at least she could get through the whole thing this time.

“The job that needs to be done is a secret investigation for a special client. This client wants to find a specific female before he passes away. The client is not going to pass away any time soon but wants to find this female as soon as possible.
All expenses will be paid as they are incurred by either cash that you will be given or by a special charge card. An RV will be ready for you because you will be traveling extensively possibly. If there is a questionable expense, you will be contacted by myself.
A cell phone will be provided for you and a laptop of the highest quality that can be bought. One that many police would die for supposedly.
On the completion of the investigation will be a 25,000 dollar reward. You will get 5,000 dollars each month in addition.
Any questions that you have for me to answer?” Miss Linda smiled as she finished her speech without being interrupted.

Noirin was totally surprised to get free things for in her short life she had to work for what she wanted. An orphanage is a hard place to grow up in after all. Noirin listen carefully and was able to Imprint as she was told to do. Now she was very interested in what kind of pets she could get. She was absorbed in the PLTs and answering the questions at this time.
