Clarent remained silent, not speaking to anyone, and yet the weight in her hands disappeared, as if it were never there. The sword was light in her hands, yet surged with power. Clarent decided to forget the strange surrounding and focused on the soul in front of them. Kerrigan? Didn't ring a bell, but he felt it should...

The sword did not respond to the lightning flowing through him, except for a spark at the blade's tip. The sword was curious. That lightning was generated by something he could not see... and as he acknowledged it, he noticed it was all around him... what the hell was it? He found himself contemplating it, studying it... And, upon further confirmation that it did indeed exist... he manipulated it. Just a tad. A small movement of the energy here and there, testing it... Playing with it...

The sword in Minx's possession was silent for a moment, before a low rumbling begins and his madness breaks her will and floods her, attempting to erase her and yet at the same time empowering her. She would fight him, he knew, but he had to do it. She started catching fire, her arms bursting aflame as she moved, and when put out they only reappeared upon her legs, burning her. The fire spread over her, slowly, threatening to reduce her to nothing more than dust. Whatever the nature of the fire, average, magical, etc., it never stopped, eating at her very existence. The flames licked at her body, only growing hotter and higher. Clarent was, for some reason, burning her to absolutely nothing.
... The what wall? o.o

The fourth wall. Right there. *I point at the viewer of this post* The outside world that exists beyond this fictional world.

Clarent stood there for a moment, watching this woman. She was loosing her mind. Her madness was worse than his former master, and strangely tantalizing. The amount of magical power she possessed surpassed Creed himself. Her physical strength and durability didn't seem too good... but that would be tested. The sword stuck his hand out, slowly, taking her own. He felt as he was forced back into his blade form.

The sword clattered heavily to the ground, being surprisingly weighted in her hand. The sword lit on fire and its power and its own madness moved slowly through her. Only fate could decide whether or not the two beings could reach a marriage of wills. Would she break him like some of his former masters, truly becoming their slave? Or maybe she would be destroyed by his overwhelming power, crushed and rejected, burned to nothing. Only Creed had ever formed a kind of partnership with the blade, others simply beating the blade into an obedient weapon, or dying like fools thinking they could.
Clarent blinked, but was not inherently afraid. He instead seem concerned. "Minx, what the hell happened to you?" He asks, staring at her. He also felt that there was something he was forgetting, something in the back of his mind he couldn't quite figure out...
