@LHG100 Looks good. Go ahead and post the character!

@Defacto What happened?

@WhySoSerious Also looks good. Post it in the Characters-section!

Damn I was slow, you saw. :(

I felt a little sad about the way my character was and decided to remake it. Is "okay" now. I hope that her powers are okays—I tried to make an ordinary character, not super powerful. She cannot have "all the powers at the same time" and generally is in one or at most three.
nevermind
Is there any more space Here? If so I've got a character ready and waiting.

Nevermind. I messed up the thread. Shame 🔔.

EDIT::
I'm reworking my character.
Titanpad is dead—again. :(

I'll try to finish today my background.
Superpower nullification is a cool power to have.

I finished my character's power suit last night, everything okay with it?

I'm planning to introduce the creator as a npc (I'll add him to the .txt later today), any problem?

Alias: Roulette
Real name: Claire Jacquier
Age: 19 but her appearance is mostly in her middle 30s.
Gender: Female

Appearance: Claire's appearance also changes completely while she sleeps and she never looks the same twice. Apparently even her fingerprints change, so there is no way to identify Roulette physically. While sometimes her appearance is totally human, Claire's transformations sometimes include some non-human traits.

When Claire's body allows her to use uniform, she uses a red jumpsuit with a a roulette symbol in the chest. If not, she wears a armband with her symbol.

Personality: Clayre usually is a lovable woman with a charming, down-to-earth attitude and a disarming sense of humor. She is capable of violence and she will not hesitate to badly hurt those who deserve it. She has adopted a deadpan attitude to all the strangeness that is her life. Her greatest fear is going to sleep—meaning yet another unpredictable physical change—and she is afraid of dying during one of her comas.

Sometimes, to postpone going to sleep, Claire uses drugs. When she is far gone into amphetamines, Claire ceases to be a friendly woman and gradually becomes a raging paranoid. She is more prone to acts of extreme violence and believes everyone is against her.

Short Biography: Claire's strangers powers manifested when she accidentally knocked a breaker full gas in her father laboratory. After waking from a one month coma Claire founded that she was different and no one could explain why. She couldn't sleep and when she finally managed, she woke up invisible—and in the following sleep the power was gone. Somehow Claire was earning powers while sleeping. The next week she found she not only could gain power but also change her body. In a month sleep her body was gone through a metamorphosis to grow wings and leave her bones hollow. Thus Roulette was born, a heroine with an endless arsenal of powers that even she couldn't control.

Powers, Skills & Equipment: Roulette powers are unpredictable. She can sleep for weeks, sometimes months, lapsing into a sort of hibernation. While she sleeps, her body slowly transforms, and she wakes up with new powers and sometimes new appearance related to the power. Sometimes she wakes up powerful superheroine, sometimes with no power at all. When she has powers, they seem to depend on the emotional state and subconscious desires she had when she last went to sleep—and sometimes accompanied by drastic changes in her appearance. For instance, if she goes to sleep feeling cold, next time she can wake up with heat powers to compensate. If she desires to fly, she can develop flying abilities next or even wings. If she goes to sleep in a very rotten mood, she can wake up with no powers or different appearance. So, when she wakes up, Roulette usually isn't sure what her powers are this time around, and must perform several little experiments to discover them. Usually she always feature or superhuman strength, or endurance, or speed with others random powers.

While she sleeps, Roulette's body regenerates, so that she heals from any wounds, even regrowing amputated body parts. A side-effect of this regeneration is that she doesn't age. And while her sleep periods can last months, she also can stay awake for a much longer time than an ordinary human. At least one week, sometimes much longer. Claire can't be affected by alcohol, since her metabolism while she is awake is much quicker than a normal human's. Her appetite is also superhuman, and Claire must consume enormous quantities of food, particularly right after waking up.

She also can absorb information and knowledge while she sleeps. Claire usually sleeps with a radio turned on, so that she wakes up with a subconscious knowledge of news and events that have transpired while she slept.

Claire is a expert acrobat and knows several styles of unarmed combat.

Weakness: Roulette is limited to the powers she has while awake and she can not change them freely without going through deep sleep and she also can't keep the same power for two consecutive sleeps. Because of the randomness of her powers, Roulette can have super strength today and, after sleeping find that she can create bubbles or speak with butterflies. With the vast arsenal of powers also comes weaknesses. Each of the powers she randomizes has its own weaknesses—she can become a powerful human torch but she can lose her powers to the slightest rainfall or worse, she can have fire powers but without vulnerability to it, or even need to scratch the skin to generate the flame.

  • She has a habit of smoking.

@Defacto Thus far, I have been very unrestrictive with power-levels. I believe that even a very powerful character can become interesting because they then must handle the responsibility that comes with that power. However, the power you are describing - creating dreams where anything can happen, and then turning it into reality - is just another way of saying "can make anything happen". In other words, God. This doesn't sound at all interesting to me, unless the character has a major flaw that keeps him in check.

I give everyone creative freedom, but I demand interesting characters.

I see. I left a gap in the description of my character's power but, in short:
Through her gaze, she can send powerful brainwaves to those who look at her, creating powerful "true illusions". These mental illusions depend on the target field of view, while him is staring at Medusa, she has full control over his mind. And if the illusion is powerful enough, it can literally convince the brain to copy anything that happens to the victim within the illusion, making it possible to kill or hurt the target with illusions.

My character was an adaptation of Medusa.

I'll think on something and start my CS today. :D
How far powers can go? Once I made a illusion manipulation character that could put people in "dreams" and everything that happened in the dream could become reality.
My character is almost finished—just lacking the history. So far, everything is okay?
