Julia wondered if the party was worth all the trouble.

Sure, it was the party to go but she had her doubts on why the hell the girls on the volleyball team kept inviting her over the last two weeks. No need to befriend the people you'll play with and Julia sure would not try to force her way into a friendship: she wasn't that popular in the team anyway.

Her destination was 10 minutes of driving then, if you deaf enough to hear the loud music you would find a bunch of cars parked, leading you in the right way. But in any, for good or worse, there was Julia in her faithful scooter following her phone's GPS to the mountain.

And after exactly eight minutes of deliberated high speed she stopped in the improvised parking lot next to a gate. She killed the engine, stored her helmet in the underseat storage and set her way into the forest. "Where the people get drunk", she thought and then reprehended herself. Jesus, Julia. No one would get that nerd joke.

After two minutes walking Julia was finally there. There was music, people dancing and even more people moving around--which she made sure to dodge everyone until she could find someone she could call friend.

LIMITS ⫻ Claire's abstraction, like many others, require a degree of mental effort in order to tap into its telekinetic force. Such prolongation of usage tends to weaken her body and mind; and in order to avoid headache and fatigue Claire has to limit herself in using her abstraction, usually few minutes of extensive and constant use before she fells such effects. Giving proper use and control, Claire manages to use her power for at least 30 minutes or two third of that if in stressful situations.

Also, I changed Julia's powers & background (Tweaked skills and psychology just a little to fit the new changes). If you in the mood for re-reading feel free.

Her skin is marked by more than few birthmarks scattered across her body in random fashion.

Julia has her mother's frail body, perhaps the most notable characteristics being her size. Julia is pretty much the definition of tiny: only 4'10" tall, weighing about 82 lbs: giving her the honorable title of the smallest of her family. She sports a slim build (petite if you want to think positively) of someone who doesn't exercise that much. Even that she is definitely not missing womanish figure, her breasts are AAA-cup since pretty much when she started to care about sizes.

Julia's face is oval shaped with a few traits lacking on her mother: hazel eyes, snub nose and jet black hair -- in which is kept at shoulder length, sides always behind ears. She also has a small gap between her upper front teeth.

Julia's shyness appears in her clothes and behavior, being definitively someone who doesn't has the likes of a person who draws attention to herself. Julia speaks in an undertone almost as she is talking to herself only. You'll definitely see her as having a serene aura as if it is impossible to make her angry at anything. Julia prefers casual clothing whenever possible, bearing only the minimum: eyeliner, lip balm, sun block (She knows or two things about skin care), jeans, and going for anything between tank top to plaid flannel shirts.

MAIN GOAL ⫻ Julia has her own list of goals. In long terms she wants to see her mother again and eventually find who is her biological father. Her current goal is to live her life as she pleases, finish her degree in accounting.

She tends to be very judgmental on herself putting enough weight on how people think and react with her, to an extent it really affects her interactions with them. Her evasive nature pretty much is the only reason she always had few to no friends on school years--even with her "popularity"in the volleyball team. In the end, if you can pass the barrier her personality dictates, you'll see Julia as a cool gal.

SECRETS ⫻ She tends to sneak out the house at night to walk alone at random places in order to get fresh air. Helps her insomnia.

DESIRES ⫻ World Peace. Just kidding. A darker side of Julia's mind tells her she wants to have a successful life to boast in her grandparents' face. Her happier side tells her she has to let those things stay in the past and live her own life.

FEARS ⫻ Julia fears that she'll always be seen as that undesirable result by everyone in the Ager family. In some way she feels like a burden, as she doesn't belong there and, if she wasn't born, her mother would still been living with her parents and all the drama about who is her father would never exist--that not meaning she hates her stepfamily.

REPUTATION ⫻ Julia's reputation is okay... if you don't take in consideration her family history. First she's seen as the unwanted by-product of Barbara Ager affairs with a random someone who stayed in town for two days and left without any warning, eventually becoming the kid without a dad and mother; The result is lots of speculation and negative opinions on who her father is; her grandparents having little to zero love for her and a missing mother.

PET PEEVES ⫻ Julia really hates her ability. And sometimes she tend to accidentally use it when she wants to be alone. She also hates people picking on her about her size.

By the time she was born her mother was only eighteen and--added to the fact no one knew the father was (or at least her mother lied to everybody)--there was a lot of whispering about Barbara Otter and her mysterious affair. The impact was huge of course and as soon as Barbara came with the news her grandparents kicked her out on the premise she had to learn the hard way. Not only having to leave college but Barbara started working to provide enough food for her and her new family.

The years after that was a spiral to something worse. Depression, drug abuse and alcohol became part of Barbara's routine, making Julia's relationship with her mother more damaged. Knowing she somehow was the one to blame Julia grew reclusive on her own little world while her mother was growing bitter even more. Eventually Barbara left without any trace, leaving an eight years old Julia alone.

Without any viable options, Julia was sent to adoption and later being under the caretaker of Wilhelm and Elizabeth Otter whom by that time was in Farmer Hill starting a bakery. Their financial condition gave Julia a decent scholarship and comfortable living; later, Julia started a part-time job with her family in their bakery, honing her skills in cooking and helping administrating as she could. Eventually as she finished high school, she started a brand new life at Grand Ridge Academy.

COOKING ⫻ Julia know one or two things about cooking, all amassed in the years she helped her new family in their bakery.

ACCOUNTING ⫻ Julia stays behind the counter most of the time she is working in her family's bakery: managing the cash register or working in the the balance sheets, hence the why she is very proficient with numbers.

VOLLEYBALL ⫻ Julia's sport choice since pretty much high school's volleyball. She used to be the libero/defensive specialists of Farm Hill's high school girl team. By the time she spent playing, the team got two silver medals and one gold. She was also the shortest in the league (and will continue being as long she plays in any team or league).

ABSTRACTION DESCRIPTION ⫻ Julia's abstraction renders herself unnoticed to the perception of others. Technically there's no invisibility involved: as soon as she wants--poof --she "isn't there anymore" from your view.

In simple words whenever she uses her abstraction she enters in a nonexistence state. Think as that sensation people has: like someone is following them or behind their back. Julia's faint presence is there but her telepathic signals is stronger than yours, thus tricking you into believing there's no one in there. Her abstraction also extends to a limited amount of mass as she is able to cloak her clothing and objects.

Julia's power is not perfect though. Devices such cameras can capture Julia's image. And even if she is hidden she still can leave traces like sound or smell or interactions with environment.

IN THE PRESENCE OF THE MOUNTAIN ⫻ The mountain extends the additional mass Julia is able to cloak, allowing her to carry another person with her.

AURA SENSING ⫻ Julia's aura reading is connected to her own emotions. She can sense when people are being elusive, being able to tell when people are being honest or not in a radius of ten meters. This purple aura is faint and requires the person to be in her field of view.

LIMITS ⫻ Other Awakened are naturally resistant to the telepathic signals that Julia sends out. However, her ability overpowers their resistance to the point where she can stay invisible long as she is outside of a three-foot radius. Julia can only remain invisible for ten minutes straight, before she wears her mind out. If Julia goes too fast while invisible, she'll become partially visible. "Too fast" in this context would be her running speed.

WEAKNESSES ⫻ Her ability wears down her brain after a little while, and causes nose bleeds, and painful headaches. In addition, she hides her own body while invisible, and thus her hand eye coordination and fine motor control take a hit. In the mountain, in order to keep unnoticed, Julia needs to be at least seven times her usual range from other Awakened: 6m or 21ft.

CHECKERS & CHESS ⫻ She just don't know how to play, she destroy at this games. Well, something in those lines. She won few tournaments in both games too, having quite reputation in Farmer Hill community. But she keeps at "yeah, I play too"--all champions has to be modest, right?

LOW-PROFILE ⫻ Julia's abstraction has its own flaws and she learned how to avoid them in her own ways, meaning that while she can be stealthy as she pleases Julia still tries has to be very, very careful on how she moves and interacts.

The more a person is focused on Julia (like a direct confrontation) the hard is to forget her whereabouts.

In case some people are wondering why I've gone ahead to post my CS without getting "approved"...

Long-time player + contributor of the Verthaven-Gaybridge universe reporting in here. Saying hi to all newcomers and also some old faces.

So yes, my characters have managed to stay alive through all the retarded incidents and disasters in the previous Gaybridge installments since Days of Rain. They are now back to kick moar asses Finally I can start killing them off one by one - hopefully.
