I've started the process of writing an adventure book for my most ambitious GUTS+ campaign, and hoo boy, it's exhausting.

@Jannah Yeah, it's hard to make a language based on languages you don't know. Hebrew and Latin are so different, too! Sounds like it could be interesting. If you want to have some more fun, you should think about throwing in some Greek, too, to round out the whole theological edge. Maybe utilize the Greek tenses that English doesn't have!

Zirka is based off of several different languages, namely English, Spanish/Latin, Hebrew, and Thai (for verb tenses)! I studied Hebrew for most of my college career and it was a huge influence to this. You should try studying at least a little bit of the languages you want to use! It's a lot of fun and it can help inspire you even more! :)

Try not to rush the others so much. I know it's the Free RP forum and speedposting is welcome here, but people have real lives and as long as you mention them in your IC post, they'll see it and get to it when they can. :) Also, they could just be taking their time to write more detailed posts, which is certainly encouraged. ;)

I'd say since Fukazza hasn't been here and you've assumed the character's role, you can give that permission. :P Nausus seemed like a pretty thrown-together character anyway. Honestly probably just should have been an NPC.

Good job keeping it going, everyone! I'm busy with real life and stuff, which is why I haven't been on here, but you guys have got it covered. I'm gonna remain the silent watcher, only jumping in if something really glaring and not okay happens, but if you have any questions for me for some reason, do feel free to ask!

Nice one!

My only pre-emptive note would be to make sure you don't go too high tech. I've been pretty lenient, allowing for magic-controlled robotics/tech and stuff like that, but having a whole robotics shop could potentially get more high tech than a fantasy/steampunk world should go. I'm not saying you're going to (and I'm sure you'll be fine), but just make sure the robots are perhaps a bit clunkier than modern ones would be. :)

This type of RP seems to be getting pretty popular here! That's awesome.

Don't know if you've seen it, but there's another tavern-based RP just like this and I have an RP based in a giant marketplace! I'm happy to see this kind of character-focused RP popping up. :D
