D&D 5E: Hoard of The Dragon Queen

I never got around to ever playing D&D (I've played Champions, but not D&D) or any of it's adventures--but I've always been interested in doing so. Plus this adventure does sound pretty sweet. I'll see if my comic store can teach me how to play or if I can google a quick guide on how to play D&D's Fifth Edition. But yeah, I'm totally interested as well.

But yeah, my Johnny Blaze or Nova thing is still fighting with me, within my head. In this role-play, would there still be intergalactic police forces, such as The Nova Core, prior to the RP happening?

I think I prefer The Ghost Rider in this specific RP, for his more...urban feel.

This universe's Daredevil went blind because his future was so bright.

I think it'd be interesting to see how the Nova Core and the Green Lantern Corps interact in this universe.

...the biotic god--lol just kidding. I was thinking perhaps either younger twists on Daredevil or Blackbolt.

EDIT: Say something were to happen and this universe's Superman got brainwashed, wouldn't it be epic for Blackbolt and Supes to fight in the Sahara Desert--far from civilization?

Blackbolt: (whipsers)

Superman: (goes flying back hundreds of yards, before standing up, spitting blood, and shouting) "I DIDN'T COME TO HEAR YOU WHISPER..."

Blackbolt: (takes a deep breath, knowing what Superman is about to say)

Superman: "..I CAME TO HEAR YOU SCREAM!!"

Yeah it's a Hulk quote but it's still badass to this day.
