I only joined this site for a specific Nation RP that ended up dying out before anything of real significance ended up happening.

@AceofrealityMost did back in 2016-2017. I left roughly before things slowed at the butt end of 2015. Lot's changed since then, I'm old the sites old, hell everything is at this point.

I joined this site in my Freshman year of high school. It's crazy to think how much has changed since then and how this site is still around in limited capacity.

I hate to say it...

From what I have seen the activity is slow, yet consistent. It is a bit of a shame since I wanted to get involved but then I think if I did, then I'd end up in an RP that would die off.

Without question the UFO then instantly shoots forward and swiftly flies over to the Main Research Tower, they seem to be getting closer to it. The Martians scientists then input the code on the right door and enter that room. The door closes behind them.

She stayed ontop of the UFO in waiting and was rather unphased by the forces of the UFO shooting forward. She patiently waited to see what would happen here, floating rather careless above it.

"From what we know it was peaceful at one point. Many hundreds of years ago, the Yahupi Confederacy were rather peaceful infact. This was until they united under a form of central cheif governance, which was rather brutal and used the solar religion to prop up their power. They began instating their control over the various island tribes and small nations there through brutal and swift tactics. They advanced quickly in the terms of military technology as opposed to the small tribes around them. That is how they came to become the ruling tribe and ethnicity. The current Cheif, named Cheif Tutanabo is a warmonger and a very experienced tactician. His father was killed in battle, however he was a somewhat genocidal maniac." the sub commander said.

More of the Yahupi cannonboats were taken out throughout the course of battle however those larger battleships and cruisers were rather hardy but a few of them sank. One of 2 of them are replaced by newly coming ones. This time their cannonballs are spiked, explode on contact and have some form of acidic poison inside of them which would surely harm anyone it came in contact with. These ships are a little more armored than the other ones to take a heavy beating. However, besides this the Yahupi forces in the region are crippling and will fall rather soon to the invading forces.

Meanwhile, the Federation had harassed Yahupi assault ships and coastal towns, taken out some defenses in the southeastern island. They had started invading, where some Yahupi troops surrender but most of them fight to the death. Slaves rebel and join the invading Federation forces as volunteers and infantry men. The Federation's more advanced weaponry allows them to win most of the battles. These newly acquired territories are annexed into the Federation directly and will be occupied by military forces for a period of time before an offical treaty is drawn out.

As she answers the questions, the Martians only stand there, presumably listening. How they feel about the answers is a mystery. But then she asks a couple of questions as well, as soon as she is done one of them answers.

"Most humans call us Martians due to us having a research colony on the terrestrial planet of Mars. We do not actually originate from Mars. Unfortunately other humans on the terrestrial planet of Earth have been shown to be capable of space travel and quite recently have taken an interest in colonizing Mars as well. Since we want to research humans without making it obvious that we are researching them, we demolished the base and have since put a research station far away from the Solar System so we can still study them and be almost certain that humans will never discover it."

The other one then answers the second question.

"This is our colony. We have terraformed a large amount of land into a version of Mars that is more habitable. The red fog you see is a substitute for oxygen, but we plan to fill the entire colony with breathable air."

She rose an eyebrow upon hearing the name "Mars". She listened to what was said with a degree of interest. "Ah, the planet Mars. Quite an interesting place. I've been there a few times in the past millennium. But it wasn't Mars as you know it... I'll let you decide what I mean by that." she said with a grin and got slightly closer to them.

"As to your question. We are known as the Q. My superiors have allowed me to come to this world and watch it's progress. And for...a good laugh or 2." she answered.

The Martians stand there, tentacles slowly swaying side to side. It is impossible to tell if they are impressed, unimpressed, confused, bewildered or remorseful, but calmly contemplative. What is seconds seems like minutes before one of them finally speaks.

"Human, why are you following our spacecraft? Why are you here? And how can you breathe in this atmosphere?" It inquired with one question after another, right after the other. The other one just keeps staring, one tentacle raised up and going back within the mass of tentacles like it is ready to pull something out. The Martian then shoots another round of questions almost immediately after the first round.

"What are those insectoid wings and how do you have them? How did you transform from a green energy to a human?" Thankfully this round was shorter and asked more obvious questions.

She floated there for a few seconds to let these questions sink in, she thought about her answers for a few more seconds as she floated there without much a care in the world. "To answer most of your questions it's because I'm not human. As to why I followed here I was just seeing what was around, more or less. My 'transforming' is just form shifting, energy shifting. I can will myself into any form at a single thought or gesture. I don't need air to breathe. I don't need to breathe! It's fun not being limited to one form!" she answered.

"Now I have few questions for you! What are you guys? What is this place?" she asked.
