As the courtyard swiftly filled up, Galvanize looked around, surveying the eclectic group of students that were beginning to gather around the Professor, his eyes gleaming with a subtle electric fizzle, yet hidden behind his reflective sunglasses, trying to map out a general vibe that his soon to be companions have, he started to evaluate them daintily, trying not to bring too much attention to himself, but given the incredible diversity of looks and auras, he couldn't help but raise an eyebrow, smile and shoot off an artistic two finger salute, as he simply acknowledged them and said in their general direction: “Sup.”

But not a moment too soon, the chattering voices were suddenly silenced by a crash of glass and wood breaking apart, as up on the higher floors, War Machine is seen striking down Deadpool, plummeting him down as he free falls and crashes crotch first into the gate, with mixed reactions from the students, Galvanize can't help but burst out laughing, wiping away a tear from his eye: "Ah, the Merc with a Mouth. Always good for a laugh, even if it's at his own expense, well since you’re here…" Galvanize quickly pulls out his phone as he takes a quick pic of the surprisingly photogenic Deadpool, still wailing in pain. Galvanize swiftly starts drawing up a post for his story online, stating: “Starting out great… hashtag… nutcracker… and send.”

Before things got even more chaotic, Professor Hulk regained control of the situation, stating that this would be the perfect time to bring everyone inside to show them around, Galvanize sighed internally. "Tour time. Let's hope this place is as good as they make it out to be" he thought, following the group with a nonchalant swagger. In his mind, the world unfolded through the lens of his own perspective, and the Avengers Academy was the next step in his journey to become… someone to surpass her.

Roaming through the guided tour, there were a few things that caught his eye, the gymnasium was always a good place to tone his body and work on one of his greatest weaknesses, an above-average strength is still like a squirt gun compared to a Gatling gun that is the average superhero in muscles. The infamous Danger Room was always something he heard from his parents as the perfect place to train both skills and teamwork, the latter being something he solely lacked.

The mention of the rooftop, with its open skies and a hangar designed by Hank Pym, caught Galvanize's attention. His love for the skies and affinity for lightning surged within him. "Now we're talking. A rooftop with a breathtaking view of the city and a hangar for those high-flying missions. Definitely gonna be coming here a lot, even if it's just to get some air" he mused, envisioning the electrifying visuals against the canvas of the heavens.

As the professor's words lingered in the air, Galvanize couldn't help but feel a spark of excitement, he was confused, he wasn’t really meant to like this, but seeing everyone around him, reciprocating his feelings, enjoying the show, and getting excited over the situation at hand, it was infectious, he is trying his best to keep up the cool guy act, but it was slowly slipping away. The world may have its troubles, but amidst it all, the skies remained a canvas waiting for his lightning to paint it with a touch of cool arrogance.

Ending the tour at the dorms, the Professor reveals that they would be bunking in teams of four, surprised at this news, Galvanize thinks it weird that they wouldn't be able to just make separate rooms, everyone knows that they would definitely have the funds and means for it, but then his quick thinking came into place, knowing what this place was exactly, he was theorizing that this was most likely done on purpose to encourage teamwork and getting to know people better, and then, as quick as the lightning bolts he shoots, his brain’s maturity immediately reverted back to that of a highschooler’s, as he started to blush and smile slightly, at the thought of bunking with any of the girls, because, given the state of who the academy chose for their female candidates, none of them were hard on the eyes that for sure.

Shaking his head, he laughs softly, and under his breath, he says: “Perhaps that’ll be a blast after all.”

As the sun cast its golden hue over the city skyline of New York, a burgeoning young man named Cassius Munroe, also known to very few to be Galvanize in the superhero realm, made his way from the bustling streets of Manhattan towards the Avengers Academy in Queens through his accustomed mode of transport, the humble subway. But before his pronounced arrival, he took a brief pit stop at his favorite hometown deli, a cherished routine for years before his new journey as a trainee at the academy, causing mouth-watering jealousy amongst the other commuters with his pastrami on rye sandwich, as he takes a well-deserved bite out of it, he cannot help but whisper out: “Dang Mr. Schwartz you did it again, an absolute killer as always”.

Having a few quiet minutes in the early morning, with the subtle bouncing sways that the subway train would offer, his wallet drops out of his jacket’s pocket, revealing a photo inside as it hits the floor and opens. Swiftly picking it up he looks at the picture of him as a younger boy surrounded by his mother and father, Storm and Nightcrawler, an innocent and soft smile comes as quickly as it goes, as a mixture of sorrow and resolve washes over him, as he exhales in annoyance, as if a teen being lectured by their parent, as he uttered: “Yeah yeah, don’t be buggin’, I’m going alright? I’ll… I’ll do my best okay? I got this.” he nodded to himself as he softly closed his wallet and stowed it away, closing the zipper this time.

Dressed in an ensemble that effortlessly fused street style with his own little design additions, Galvanize sauntered through the familiar streets, exuding an air of confident poise. A navy blue leather jacket with orange trims, a hallmark of his fashion, draped over a subtly branded t-shirt, hinting at his love for fashion. Complemented by sleek jeans and a pair of sneakers with a futuristic glimmer, his attire spoke volumes about his distinctive style.

Immersed in his own world, his steps moved in rhythm to the sound of his Synthwave/Electric playlist flowing through his Beats. The pulse of Turbo Killer by Carpenter Brut and Blinding Lights by The Weeknd synchronized with his movements, painting an almost cinematic scene around him. Nodding his head to the captivating music, he was lost in the melodies as he strolled towards the gates of the academy.

Entering the courtyard, Cassius found himself face-to-face with the iconic, towering, and wise Professor Hulk. With a nod to the beat of his music, he removed his headphones before greeting him with a confident smile, his eyes gleaming with determination and style.

Professor Hulk, a symbol of intelligence and strength, regarded Galvanize with a knowing nod. "Hey Prof! Nice place ya got here, I can see you’re already a little stacked with everyone around, so I’ll let ya get to that." he exclaimed as he very casually lets out a few casual finger guns while walking backwards away from the gathering crowd, noticing a nice and secluded area just an earshot away.

Placing his beats back on his head, the music continued to play in his ears, Galvanize began his journey at the academy, a beacon of style, and confidence, ending with a mixture of determination and detachedness. As he was about to sit at one of the stone benches outside, his eyes caught the glint of broken glass on the floor at a short distance, quickly discovering that it came up from one of the higher floors, his senses attuned to the faint sounds of commotion coming from that direction, one voice exuding authority, whilst the other one of a more playful and mischievous nature. Shaking his head and smirking, knowing that it was of no concern, as he knew that there were more pressing matters at hand and adding the evergrowing commotion that was comprised of more students joining in and flooding the courtyard, his arrival marked the beginning of an exciting chapter, where the legacy of heroes and the dawn of a new era converged and the stage was set for him, to carve his name into the illustrious history of the Avenger’s extraordinary heroes, as he finally sat down, skipped to the next song, and enjoyed the view.
