Enemy, Mine

The kingdom was in a state of peaceful calm. The denizens of evil defeated to the point no one remembered the legends of old. Every day of every year the people lived their lives ignorant of the ancient ways. They were happy in their ignorance. No longer fearing the dark and deep places of the world. Only fairy tails remained telling tales of demons or worse. Kingdoms grew to sizes never before seen and the people were treated fairly by those in power. On the planet Europa warriors grew old and unchallenged. Thieves stole and magic atrophied to the point of being only useful to entertain large gatherings. Mystics and creatures of wonder vanished to the point of fantasy.

The Gods were forgotten from this planet. Science was taking root in the form of astronomy and steam power. Vessels called airships were replacing older sea faring vessels. Most of the kingdoms that currently existed were built either by using the stones of older castles or built on top of the ruins of the past. It is there that no one expected to be anything that would change the lives of everyone forever.

There was, and it did, it changed everything.

Apprenticeship

Hello!

This might be odd but never the less it is a genuine request. I am looking to better my writing style. I've noticed some deficiencies and would like to fix those as well as improve the quality of my posts. I don't need a person to bash my work. I respectfully request that the person applying for this be constructive and helpful. A seasoned/ veteran of the site. However please keep in mind that I have no desire to copy or duplicate your writing style. I also have no wish to go through the (albeit really cool) learning of fonts and page creation. I would appreciate a second person to look over a bit of writing and add some points that I am over looking. This would be done in the PM to avoid the unwanted critique of on lookers. For these reasons I am seeking someone to take me on as an apprentice in a 1x1 to help me in achieving this goal. We can do this in any style but cannon, arena, or military. Something with some feels. As my writing really lacks the expression of feelings from my characters from moment to moment. This would be a short term appointment. Those interested can find samples of my writing under the bio-log.
