I don't think I've seen this in the requests list thread or the past three pages of the subforum, so thread time.
The Old Guild had a function that displayed the first few sentences of text in a thread if you hovered your mouse over it. I'm not sure if the hover feature is necessary or possible, but it would be useful to have an optional, editable function (maybe in the form of a mini hider box) that lets users put a short description of their thread on the subforum page (probably next to the thread title). For example, you could have a roleplay title, then in the thread preview put '2 more character spaces', 'A sci-fi drama inspired by <fandom name> GM'd by such-and-such', etc. Not really necessary for Off Topic, but I thought it might be useful.
