If you're not trying to romance the Pokemon, what's the fucking point?

Can't help but read 'woah' as a regular 'wuh', but 'whoa' as a deep, masculine 'HOO-AH!'

That's patently untrue. I planted some potassium the other day, and no matter how much I watered it, all I got was explosions.

According to the IRC, I'm a low-grade troll. They're probably not wrong.

About midway between lime and yellow. I wonder what that would mean, given that lime blooded trolls are extinct due to them being the victims of genocide.

You're the same colour as Jorick.

...You two can repopulate the limebloods for us! 8D

To be honest, when I wrote the intro it was late and I was tired XD but that is a good question, to which I do not know the answer. I think I'll look it up. To the interwebz! Also, Turt, how many people do you want for this?Edit: Concerning the slayed/slew question. Here's pretty much what I found:The primary verb is "slay", the past tense of which is typically "slew", and the past participle of which is typically "slain". However, "slayed", can be substituted and would not be incorrect for either the past tense or past participle. So, I'd take that as while "slayed" would be correct, "slew" would be the more proper way of putting it. Also, I suppose the sound of it in the sentence would matter as well, and rereading it I think "slew" would sound better. It's fun to look things up :)

To slay will slay did slay
have slew you slew
Will have slayed we slayed
Was slain, will be slain, has been slain
Has been slayed, exists in a state of being slayed (ow).

Well, that certainly was interesting. And a little murderous. OuO

If the character number goes above the max before I write a character I'll just watch what happens here.
Hm... Considering a new forum completely, I think I can justifiably reuse my favourite trainer. :3 We'll say she's older this time though.

Ok, I think that's all. Tell me if I missed anything out or contradicted myself, or if something about her doesn't make sense, I haven't done a character sheet in a while. q:

Awson, your sig is the trippiest thing I've seen in weeks. o_o

I can't decide if Jorick's been wiped out by the other classes, or if he's just the highest caste of peasant. Hmmmmmm.

Well...

Yep, I'm pretty comfortably in the low-blueblood caste. Pretty good.

I see. Thanks. So, symbiosis is a thing. Sounds awesome. Oh, I could enjoy this. Haha, another Animorphs fan I see. I never read it either, haha.

Well, I was a fan, but I started and stopped reading through them quite a few years ago... Was I even a teenager then? O.o Maybe I should pick it up again.

Symbiosis is most definitely a thing, in and out of your own power field. What I would like to see is how player-gods communicate without any medium other than their species growth, and no language. Then again, time will be sped up immensely in this roleplay... Might need to fix something there.

Swinging in to ask if you've got room for one more~Herbivorous insectoid orange slime things are fun :3(or whatever else if I find a random adjective generator)

Always room for more, I'm not fond of player limits. Welcome, insect slime.

How many people are you looking for before you go on to the next step?

This is pretty much good enough, and I have spare time. Let's roll.

This could be cool, although I'm not entirely certain~

Considering that there will be free species floating around, it won't be particularly hard to jump in (except maybe at the very start... Oh irony), so take your time.
A stranger enters, shivering with excitement. "I love that game!" they exclaim gleefully, before collapsing of a yay overdose.

...We have no off-topic Pokemon thread yet. Why do we not have an off-topic Pokemon thread yet. BRB.

I feel like I could get into this. What kind of life forms are we talking?Reminds me of the game whose name I don't remember played by the race whose name I don't remember from the begining of the Ellimist Chronicle.

Anything eukaryotic, and the fun thing is that it doesn't have to fit into any Earth classification. Make a carnivorous giant slime mould if you want, or a plant-like thing that swims around. q: If you can eventually reach it just by pushing a more primitive life form in that direction, it is absolutely fine. Another thing I should have said, though: Bacteria, Archaea, and all similar prokaryotic cells are NPCs and have been here since forever. They can be used for symbiosis, they are everywhere, there's plenty of variety, but things will get complicated if we start controlling them too.

Andalites, Yeerks, the Crayak, Taxxons, Hork-Bajr, those glider medic things that designed the Hork-Bajr... Nope, can't remember either. q: I never read the Ellimist Chronicles.
