As boots echoed off of the worn streets, Tholo debated on breaking the air of silence. It was the first time he had come across another werewolf while a full moon wasn't in the sky. It was nice to know he could still be civil without the beast coming forward to somehow debase what shed of humanity Tholo felt he had left.
"So Ms. O'Shay, if I may be so bold to ask, how long have you been.... Afflicted?" Tholo finally asked breaking the silence, pondering on what to use for the final word without it sounding to harsh. It was better then saying cursed or how Tholo himself viewed being stuck with a ravenous beast in him.
"For me it's been three summers since bearing the marks of the beast," He continued as they walked to their given task."Hard to believe its been that long."
Occupation: Tattooist/part time artist/hobby animator
Residence: A two bedroom apartment with a roommate
Appearance: Adala has a skinny build though maintains a fit physique. Not including her hairstyle, she stands at 5'8'', slightly taller then average height of most women. While she can be spotted wearing normal t-shirts and shorts around her apartment, out in public she is consistent with the gothic/punk look. Part is due to the job and fitting the environment, mostly it's because she likes how she looks in it and does look good in a mosh pit when seeing her favorite band.
History: Adala has always had a passion for drawing and sharing her art. While making art is her passion, unfortunately her passion can help pay the bills at least not at a consistent rate so to help pay for rent and bills for her apartment she combined her passion with a means of still sharing her art in that she learned to tattoo. It provides an outlet to let her be creative as well as meet new people.
Despite the rather loud apperance of her clothes and style, she is a rather friendly person. She isn't afraid to voice her mind which leads her into some interesting situations to say the least but overall enjoys conversing with strangers, be it over hobbies or life in general. She can be hardheaded at times though refusing to back down when she should.
Pokemon Owned:
Pokemon: Rockruff Nickname: Sidia Gender: female Ability: Steadfast Personality: Sidia is rather stoic and calculative. She doesn't mind speaking her mind as well as being blunt with her opinions. Depending on the situation this can be good or bad. In most cases it means she has difficulty being friends with anyone due to her bluntness. Friendship & Affection: She serves Adala loyally and will do anything to protect her partner. While she doesn't always show it, she is affectionate for her partner and is grateful for Adala finding her and taking her in and never wishes to leave her side as long as they live. History: Sidia has a bit of one track mind, to train and fight enough to finally evolve. At first this meant picking a fight with just about everything and anything in human society which Adala had to teach to her that not everything is another pokemon that she can get training from or a fight, and that picking a fight with some of the wrong things could end with bad results. This has made Sidia calm down slightly and not be so hard headed but it doesn't stop her from her goal of evolving and to be stronger, now with the added goal of it to protect her partner.
Moves Used: -Bite -Tackle -Howl -Rock Throw
Trivia: Favorite color is pink though will never admit to it. Also nerdy but again it's hard to tell by her appearance and only really shows that side to those she knows.
Prologue: Adala was the last person to leave the shop that night. She locked up and began to make her way back to her apartment debating on if she was going to stop by an open shop to buy dinner. While traveling past an alley way a commotion startled her from her pondering. Normally she would of just kept going once it seemed that whatever was causing the ruckus had stopped but something told her to go check it out. Her footsteps echoed off the the walls of the two buildings as she went deeper down the alleyway unsure what she would find.
She jumped back when a trash can fell over, a small bundle tumbling out. At first she took it as a wild dog, but getting a closer look at it there were some things that seemed off. Such as the small ring of rocks around its neck that a first looked like a collar. What made her decide that she wanted to keep this animal, still mostly thinking it was a dog, she was uncertain but she brought the bundle of fur home with her, for once glad that her complex allowed pets. Her roommate was asleep. No doubt there would be a fuss in the morning about it but Adala doubted her roommate would put up much of a fight, she loved animals as much as any other animal person.
Tholo's legs nearly gave out under him as they appeared at their destination. The teleporting leaving him feeling slightly ill as he focused on maintaining his balance as the then had to walk the rest of the way to their destination. Upon reaching the outpost, the ground had stopped moving beneath Tholo's feet, making him feel much beter. He only hoped that the feeling would lessen over time if teleporting to locations was a common occurrence.
Once Ryder had seemingly gathered all the information from their contact, another Red Hood, he began giving the group various tasks. Tholo gave a brief nod as he was paired off with Brighid. They were tasked with checking on the couple by the Tavern and gathering any and all information on the attack from them.
Once seperating from the others, the walk to the Tavern was mostly in silence, Tholo unsure really what to talk about and focusing more on what needed to be done, ignoring the fact that if it wasn't for their job, it was a relatively peaceful night, with little noise besides the soft thuds of their steps.
Tyrin lightly chuckled from the exchange the two newcomers had before giving a warm smile and returning their greeting."A pleasure to meet you. My name is Tyrin, hail from Yukumo Village. The bundle of fur on my shoulder is Tove," he stated as the palico gave roll of his eyes at Tyrin.
"Yes bundle of fur that keeps you alive," Tove sarcastically replied ",You can't find helmet without me. How you have lived so long is anyone's guess. Should be Gammoth food by now."
Tyrin merely shook his head at the response."I think sharp tongues just are a common trait among them. Now getting him to be silent is quite a trick." In response Tove hit the top of Tyrin's head, giving an annoyed hiss and a few mumbled curses to which Tyrin laughed before returning to talking to their new found fellow hunters.
"As for your weapon, as long as you know how to use it and use it well, then continue to do so. As you said, let hunter's use what suites them best. Besides wouldn't want you taking all the fun from me, I enjoy giving a monster a greeting with my hammer. Look forward to hunting with you and hopefully we'll get a few hunts sooner rather then later."
Once introductions had seemed to be somewhat passed about, Tyrin moved past the port and into the city, Tove following swiftly. With no Guild Captain to greet them, the next best thing was to get acquainted with the city streets and what they had to offer to the hunters. Eventually they would stumble upon the Guild Hall perhaps which would save the trouble of the Guild Captain finding them.
The streets were crowded with many people, so much so that Tove got fed up with dodging the footfalls of others he now rode on Tyrin's shoulder acting as look out and pointing places of interest out to check out for supplies or to come back to later after the hunts they would eventually go on.
"Potions low," the palico stated as a reminder as they past one of the numerous shops. Most supplies were low, they hadn't been able to pack much before leaving on the airship. So supplies would have to built up again and the palico was all to happy to pester the forgetful hunter on the matter whenever they past a shop.
"Yes I know," Tyrin replied back with a sigh of annoyance earning him a thump on the head from Tove ",I'll put you back on the ground."
"Ha! You'd be lost in seconds. You don't pay attention to streets. I do," Tove dared leaving Tyrin to grumble and continue their way down the streets on their own.
