Crimson just shrugged again, and continued walking. "If you want to follow me, then go ahead and waste your time," he said. "Just don't get in my way." His tone of voice actually sounded kind of bored.

James looked at her. "Nope. Not yet. I'm sure I'll think of something though," he said. "I just try not to overuse a genie's powers. I'm not so selfish as to try to fulfill my own desires."

Mia was a bit taken back by his semi rude tone. "That's a dangerous job." She tried to sound tough and authoritive, but her voice came out rather meek. "You really shouldn't do it alone." She began to pick at her hair. She hadn't really thought this little incervention through, but she couldn't let this guy walk into his death.
Crimson shrugged, and then continued walking. His footsteps were silent, despite being in full armor. He didn't seem to care how dangerous the job was. He just liked a challenge.
James sighed and looked at her. "I saved her from a few rogue ninja. They looked like mercenaries. I had to use my healing jutsu on her," he said.
James cringed and picked her up, carrying her into the village. He looked around, hoping someone would recognize her. He really didn't feel like carrying around an injured girl all day.
James sighed and laid her down on the ground. "This might hurt a little..." he said. He did a few hand symbols but didn't say anything as she was healed, but not for free. Her injuries transferred onto him, but then he made a few more hand symbols and he slowly regenerated.
James carefully picked her up so as not to hurt her. "You're welcome..." he said softly, before starting to carry her towards the village. "Let's just get you into the village where you'll be safe for now." He looked at her. "I really hate people like that. They go after anyone with special powers and try to capture them." He sighed while he walked into the village, carrying her in his arms.
